Why don't we just make a different format next time and do it like that for a change, we do a best of 5 or best of 3 without legs and we make it way shorter so it doesn't have to last 2-3 months but a single month, maybe a regular season to go along with it, every team goes up against each other and then we do playoffs and be done with it, because people can be avaliable on certain dates and I'm pretty confident that neither Heero nor i will be able to participate in this match so, there won't really be a generational show down like you hoped for I'm afraid, I doubt that DT will be at their best either, it's gonna be a match like every other and maybe we will win, maybe they will, who knows, we just wanted to put on a show for guys watching on YouTube and gtv, but as I said I doubt it will be a clash of titans. It bothers me that we can't be at our best for these matches and at a certain time but it is what it is, we are trying to take at least amount of time as possible but it simply ain't happening

You obviously have no responsibilities in your life so I can understand that you would think "competence" has any relevance when trying to organise matches one or two months in advance (since there are 2 legs for whatever reason).

@ricky sure that can probably be a discussion for another edition for this one, unfortunately it's too late for that so this is what it's. anyway, I can tell you that initially this is how this one was supposed to be, just a small summer tournament similar to the previous Christmas edition and I think that pretty much the feedback/feeling was a bit more like this. best of three games are pretty much pointless, anybody can miss a game or have a bad game and the outcome changes completely and best of five games for mostly week day plays like these were always too hardcore in the long run beside the tie-breakers were always controversial so I think the current format it's a bit of a mix of both and from what I've seen so far what has worked the best. as for the length, I think that a bit of the same, to get meaningful results you really need to have played a significant amount of games beside shorter tournaments would just end up getting a lot more repetitive and boring in the long run not to mention that a regular phase and a playoff afterwards wouldn't really short a lot the tournament beside a couple of weeks at most. for example, what made the last Christmas edition exciting was actually the second leg when something else beside all the usual picks were played and there was various upsets and great excitement. it's the way it's and I think that are all positive changes and either way that would obviously be a topic for another edition not this one. for the rest, yes I totally understand you and I'm on the same page, I totally understand and agree that obviously in the top games the top players want to play and I'd like them to play as I even based the tournament balance along that but of course as long as it's realistically possible. if it's not, it's not as you're putting it. it's the way it's and I repeat like for the tenth time in this thread that's something the teams must take into account when building and managing their teams, that at the end of the day, the tournament needs to get going and it can just not be dragged like this. that's their responsibility when they sign up so if they fail on that, that then forces me to act accordingly and take charge myself of the situation as it can not be otherwise. in case someone got mislead or something, you signed up all to participate in a organized weekly tournament according to some well established and known rules that are there for a reason, not to play a bunch or random games as it happens to go. you don't even need for the latter so that's why I'm here for.

@lith look 'out of the blue' all this drama just got confirmed now in the day for the next Sunday 11 of October of 2026 20:30 CEST (UTC+02), dt already picked storm3tourney1, reqdm5, hub3tourney1, ass blocked storm3tourney1 and picked bal3dm3, goldleaf, q3dm8 so once again, I don't even know what shit are you talking/complaining about now? it's not my problem (nor my fault) if, on your own words, you 'begged people to play' in a 'shitty ass tournament' so honestly if you don't have anything relevant/meaningful to add don't waste your precious and scarce time spamming the thread with non sense as it's not gonna be tolerated. other than that I think I already made clear and addressed any point that was necessary.

Tournament is good. Adminless flawlessly conducts the tournament and coordinates it. Why are you insulting him? because the tournament needs to be held on time and you or someone else can't meet that deadline? In this case, accept the technical loss and play the matches you can. There are rules. In this case, if anyone deserves to be insulted, it's you, dude, you committed to playing the tournament and playing it on time, and now you're throwing a tantrum because you can't meet deadlines.
You said that: “we advertised it on the Discord and begged people to play.” — who is this “we”? And I didn’t see any advertising from you on Discord? The tournament is being participated in by the core teams that took part in previous tournaments (before you joined the community) consistently and without public insults. Semisek and I did the advertising (or, more precisely, just shared the information that the tournament would be held) on Discord. You didn’t do anything about it, almost nothing, you just toxicated things, just like here and now. And your Miroslav only came to Discord once every two years, said some crap in the community in Discord, and then said some more crap here about me, and left.
Pay attention: you made extremely harsh criticism of the Admin and the Tournament (name‑calling, without explaining the problem or situation), but you didn’t put forward any proposals — what do you suggest we do, what do you want?
This looks unreasonable and extremely negative from the perspective of someone who just came here to find out how the tournament is going and when they can watch the next match.

Ideas and suggestions regarding the best way and format to hold the tournament should obviously be addressed before the event begins, rather than while it is already underway. as i see

don't worry the next noted match will be this Wednesday 30 of September of 2026 19:30 CEST (UTC+02) between the former lineal champions ilm and the spiritual successor of the former undisputed champions ofp in a eventual re-match of the 2021 grand final between ilm and sbornaya rossi. a fight that given the circumstances it can easily prove fundamental for the final outcome of the first leg.

Why are you talking? You are literally banned from participating because all you do is cause trouble 😂😂😂
The tournament format is so good u find a way to weasel out of all the tournaments you entered here.

And why are you talking about "we" as if adminless includes you in any decisions? You are the community clown and have absolutely no sway over anything here.

Enjoy ur ban lil buddy 🤣

@adminless I was warned about you by a few people. I guess you really need to experience it to understand. Dont worry, this forum will not be taking up any more of my time. Ill leave p0rsche here for you since this is exactly the kind of person the unfreeze community has created. Which is a little why im surprised you even banned him actually since all he does is suck your cock

I dislike getting undeserved praise as much as I do getting undeserved hate so it goes both ways. that being said the guy made a few solid points, showing up here to ask me if I know that the guys I registered are the ones actually playing the tournament and talking other similar non sense like that which even contradict other people accounts of the events it only gives you a bad look and what's more important, it takes away your credibility. honestly this is all stuff that it shouldn't even be necessary to discuss it like that, this is just how any normal tournament is expected to play, it's plain common sense. ok, anyway, now on topic what really matters here is that finally this morning the card for the drama show of the tournament so far was completed as follows now:
  • stage: UnFreeZe Tournament 2026, First Leg, Week 4
  • match-up: Double Trouble VS ASS Clan
    • DT: miro, olc, lihensor, kf, tuby, shantu, edversion, masin
    • ASS: lithz, Heero, Inifin!ty, Ares, RICKY, St.G3RMaiN, Ric0, Denzoa
  • server: fpsclasico.de:27968 or fpsclasico.eu:27968
    • gtv: fpsclasico.de:27969
  • picks:
    • dt: storm3tourney1 (-), reqdm5, hub3tourney1
    • ass: bal3dm3 (-), goldleaf, q3dm8
  • maps: reqdm5 , goldleaf , hub3tourney1 , q3dm8
  • date: Sunday 11 of October of 2026 20:30 CEST (UTC+02)
  • ruleset: competitive UnFreeZe 5vs5 rulesets, no mid-game changes nor spectators allowed
ok, great news then that means that at least both dt and ass this time made proper use of the granted grace time and fully completed the card in time so no penalization or any other action will be taken and thus this epic battle will now be schedule to close the first leg of the tournament, awesome. other than that as said, do not forget now that a few messages ago the actual fights for the last week of the first leg between ass-ilm and tto-dt have already been posted. keep that in mind so you don't run now right away into the very same issues, that should be left at least scheduled within this week. as usual, things aren't black and white and there's always some understatement and flexibility. that being said, people have to understand as well that I'm not gonna be warning you forever or allow this to descend into a shit show.

i think someone is not interested in reading your insults and stupid emotional outbursts. It looks like you're trying to get banned (or perhaps you've already earned it)—keep it up.

I think future tournaments should be held in just 1 day. Having to organise 8 matches across 2 months between 13 or so ppl is too cumbersome. We could also do 4 or more of them a year instead of 2

@P0rsche seriously, this does not need any more heat than necessary so stop provoking this guy and throwing more fuel to the fire and keep the conversation on topic. the matter at hand was completing the fight card for the pending fight and that has already been done so as I told the guy, I don't think there should much else to discuss or say about it now that hasn't been already. the topic now is to hear from ass-ilm and tto-dt along this week when they can play their matches next week and move on then to complete those cards as well on time.

@sarasti no disrespect, but that totally sound like crap coming out of a random speed dating chat on tinder, total bullshit. one day tournaments I think they are not happening or at least I don't see me doing them. I mean, I'm not gonna show up at a match with a calculator to start doing math. shorter tournaments could be a option and that was even the initial plan here as said until people seemed to prefer to wait for a more proper edition so that's what we finally got and I'd like to remark that the thread was open for discussion for two months. it's not like I showed up one day and setup you up all in the spot or anything, it's all stuff that not only was very well known that I repeated like, literally, a dozen times that the teams needed to account for when preparing for this. once again, as said almost everyone stubbornly decided they simply knew better.

Another suggestion immediately shut down 😂yes let's be productive and suggest useful changes so I can deny them straight away to show i am the one in charge.

hey let's make this clear from the start, I did not oblige, nor forced anybody to participate (neither I hid nor changed anything if not I repeat completely the contrary I warned everyone multiple times about it and as can be seen people simply stubbornly ignored) and obviously the same goes the other way around. none of you is in any place to try to force me to organize a tournament or run a format that doesn't even make sense. it's not happening and that's not the way it works, we all make suggestions here and from those that I find appropriate and reasonable have a constructive discussion and then I might or may not introduce changes at my own discretion but that's all about it. as I commented, ricky suggestions for example were on point and I repeat that was even the initial plan for this, thing is nobody signed up for that. sarasti suggestions, it's just ruining things and simply in line with what I wrote, that's not any kind of tournament, that's merely a bunch of random games played as it happens to go so don't count for me to do that. look, endurance and resilience is indeed part of the competition not just who can show up one day and be a one time wonder. it's about meeting up, planning, building a real team and all that kind of stuff (respecting, honoring the competition, fair play etc etc), things that are all as important as merely the 'skill' along with obviously having a good time and enjoy the game which is for we all should be here at the end of day since it's not like we're making any money or anything. that's what these tournaments are all about and I made it pretty clear since the beginning that it was about having positive experiences in the site and connecting the community and not about any kind of toxic competitiveness that will be cut short in one way or another.
