Q3DM14 and DM15 - It's played too often. Damn, my nerves may not be able to stand it))) I think it's worth making a little more DM6. maybe add modified DM6

messing with power ups and items at q3dm14 sounds like a good experiement to me, also the possibility of removing it from 1 server is great.
i used to not like dm15 and the space map but after the changes that adminless impelemented i became more satisfied with little to no urge to /disconnect.

Have you noticed how many just disconnect from the server when Dm14 comes up?
Only way to salvage this map as a viable option in rotation is to do some radical changes to weapons and especially ammo.
25 rockets on spawn, no grenades YA where RA is now. for starters.
You usually have an (almost) unbreakable camp by RA because in a 11 v 11 game you have 550 rockets per team, by default and 11 of them spamming the same door.

It's always the same scenario. A small map (usually dm6) starts with i.e. 4 vs 4, then lots of players join until the server is full, and after the game ends, probably because of the number of players, a large map starts. When it's dm14, half of them run away and the map often ends up with playing with bots. And so it goes on and on...
I was wondering if it would make sense to turn the former Glacius into a third server with classic maps (and maybe limit the number of players to 12 or so). I don't even know if Glacius is still running—I think it's in the server list, but I have no idea if anyone is playing there. Just an idea...
I know that the admin has other things to worry about right now (and I really hope the situation gets resolved), so maybe sometime in the future.

sure everything is running just as usual (including glacius), I made no further changes to this like in the last month and hopefully everything went smooth after the last maintenance back in the winter. I think this has been brought a ton of times already, the same that could be said about dm14 could be said about pretty much any other map so if we would start to remove maps just like that then we would end playing virtually nothing (or the same thing 24/7 which for that matter is just as bad). unfortunately this is about the best this can do for the most part. as for glacius as far as I can tell it's pretty much death (while the other two servers are top busy) I had probably rather planned to do something else with it and/or simply a update/something different/new with the new spare resources after the server maintenance but unfortunately I think that's not gonna be possible in the short/middle term. as for setting up glacius as a third standard server I'm not so sure about that by now I guess it's best use it's just as spare server to (allegedly) play all those fancy custom maps.

Speaking of Dm6.... Why is balance on that map extra shit so we play it through in like 13 rounds?
Or is it just me wishing we could play more of it.

also answered plenty of times already, dm6 only works out/makes sense for up to 18/20 players max which most often than not is not typically the case at the main servers. anything beyond that that map is simply not (meaningfully) playable.

Yeah it can get chaotic when people rush in to play.
We could however make DM6 go to 20 instead of 10.

Yeah people tend to swarm the server when it comes up.
The ideal 4v4 or 5v5 games on DM6 very rarely happen...
