Hello

i am Pier no doy Una in the servers. Q3DM14 is a piece of shit.

it is wasted time to play that map more thinking in noob players pushing your back with grenades or rokets... or me camping yellow in bfg room jajaja

this map is like capture the flag but with red armor place. it has no sense and it is boring.

another thing, what is the order of the maps? the loop: some times you play this map, then play another and then return to this map again... i cut my vains.

why not include q3DM12? maybe it is too big?

I think this has been discussed a lot of times across the site already, playing 24/7 pro-q3dm6 and q3dm7 is just not realistic so it's always better to have some more maps at play than not. the order is pretty much random so yeah sometimes there can be some repetition the same way other times it might take longer to load. as for q3dm12, per request that map was indeed already added here in the past a couple of times and both it totally ruined the server (i.e. 1:1 after half a hour, 1+ hour to end the game etc etc). unfortunately that map is just not playable in this mod. regarding maps I would also like to remind you that there's actually three different UnFreeZe servers running at all times so at least in the event to find some map that you dislike most often than not you do have at least a fair chance to play something else if you prefer.

please beleive me when i say that in my case that when i list servers in quake, one server appears in blue and the other in purpple and glacius in green color. latelly a lot of times there was the same map in both servers at the same time q3dm14 (nightmare) and glacius was empty. Beleive me when i say if i can choose i don´t play that map.

about the bigger map io suggested i understand in unfreeze it is a problem to end ... must be with 22 players yes or yes and even that maybe it is big.

The second thing is that sometimes you are in the right competition, no noobs and it is being interesting and funny... but appears this map and you dont want to enter the other server just in case there are no players or there are many new players.

I am 48 years and time is important to me ... that map is no worthy. at least could be deleted from one of the servers and we wont have the problem anymore at least in one server.

I want to ask you about the files in download section (there are a lot of files)... is that a quake version more optimized. My problem is that i dont remember and i dont find a topic with the standard parameters like maxpackets, snaps and so on, i did it a cfg years ago and also used viper´s one latelly and i dont remember the parameters and the correct values. Also to see all enemies green as i see them now. Also i changed some of the parameters according to a website and now i dont remember wich i touched... i am idiot i know but is the truth.

the question is, maybe that distribution works better in conection ping and everything? i am playing with one i downloaded from internet...

I understand that but you also have to understand that as I just explained starting to remove maps like that until there's virtually none, or almost none, left is not a option. I know there's a chance both main servers happen to run the same map at the same time but I assume that most often than not they won't as I said and as for glacius I guess that if it's death it will be also for a reason. may be people isn't generally that interested in playing any of those other maps after all. as for the client the best solution overall to play at these servers is just using one of the provided packages as jutuli has suggested you already so get the fpsclasico-client-community-edition.zip file for example and just copy your pak0.pk3 file inside the baseq3 folder there after you unzip it. no need to install/uninstall and/or configure/change anything else and that should already give you about best possible experience here (as can be seen in the renders).

i think it will be cool , if map dm6 would be in rotation (11 vs 11 players) . Currently, the dm6 card only appears when a small/medium number of players are playing.
and since the server is completely full at the main time (10vs10 11vs11), it turns out that the time period for dropping the dm6 card is very small.

I disconnect every time it comes up.

Arrrrrr can you add dm6 to load more often off peak arrrrr otherwise pirate will get you

Ps don't forget about the team swap when score card shows , you get swapped anyway so nice if it doesn't do that so quick , I know I know low priority....lol

What about some pu item. You saying power ups dont works, imho they do. What about some pu in rocket/mega side, Regeneration???
The same for DM15, why not put quad damage to lava open place, nobody playing there, everyone fight in the rooms/ hall. Imho this would help.

But you can as redrum say spice the map up, portal spawn change, some weapons power ups , invisible, quad power

Cmon man look in mirror and say let's do it 😂

DM14 is just a crap for 16-22 people. you'll replace ra with ya, and it won't help. even if you remove ra, that's the only room where you can find a piece of your place. it will still be unplayable and bad. i suggest reducing the frequency of this map do minimum.
