breaking, dt finally assembled almost in full formation and managed to get past tto with a clean 3:0 victory and it appears that still at the pending wait of the ass-ilm conclusion they might end up directly battling for the first place of the first leg the Sunday against ass. in the other hand given the circumstances outstanding showing by tto that beat expectations and definitively greatly improved beyond yesterday with probably cTh best recorded performance on the site. ggs and very well played everyone.

ok the other game has finally concluded in a hardcore battle that finally decided in favor of ass that with this 3:1 win over ilm it's the only team counting all its games as wins so far. still the opening game victory for ilm is remarkable as it now it would even make possible a first place for dt in the first leg if the manage to get a solid 3:0 win though even such chance might remain remote as then they would need to go as far as round/score differences where as still have a lead. in any case a win the Sunday for as would put them four points beyond the second in the first leg which would probably be almost decisive so either way it anticipates as the ultimate showdown so far. as usual I go update now or after the dinner everything and if anything I'll just let you now, great games.

ok everything updated and reviewed now. as anticipated the Sunday finally will meet dt currently rated 1722.08 as the second place and ass rated 1796.24 as the first place in what's actually the final of the first leg and potentially even a anticipated super final depending in the results since if ass wins they'll get a +4 point advantage over any of the current seconds that given the circumstance it might prove too much to overcome for the rest of the teams in the second leg. in any case remember once that to directly win the champion during the league the first needs at least 2 or more points of advantage over the second place by the end of both legs. otherwise the champions comes from a direct super final match between the first and the second disputed over the five most played games in the tournament after the league. but it does not only end there, ass has as well at grab setting the historic highest recorded rating beating the previous 1825.03 points recorded by oKo in 2023 at the height of their reign with a win so once again, regardless of who ultimately turns out, it's gonna be a clash of historical proportions often only seen once in a generation. in the other hand dt still hold realistic chances of taking the first place of the first leg as basically they just need a triple 10:8 or similar win and they wouldn't depend on anything else so definitively nothing impossible specially considering they start as home team. additionally obviously any other score beside a ass victory would put them right behind and would heat up everything so clearly there's a lot of play which should speak volumes of the setup. regardless of the scores and despite the critics I think it's clear the format delivered.

ok, YouTube videos for yesterday super battles just posted now so as usual just as a brief public reminder here while the first leg final awaits this is what I currently have noted for the upcoming fights left to schedule this week:
  • Week 1
    • Team One VS ASS Clan: currently agreed by both for the initially suggested Tuesday 13 of October of 2026 20:00 CEST (UTC+02) therefore just waiting now for tto picks for this no later than tomorrow. remember that in the first leg pro-q3dm6, teddm1, bal3dm3, hub3tourney1, overkill, pro-q3tourney7 was chosen and therefore none of that can be picked again.
    • OFP Clan VS ILM Clan: ofp already confirmed for the Wednesday 14 of October of 2026 19:45 CEST (UTC+02) and picked 6++, focal_p132, storm3tourney1 therefore now just waiting to hear from ilm if they can play at such date or if not when they could the next week as to leave this schedule within this week. additionally remember that charon3dm9, pro-dcmap7, bal3dm3, teddm1, q3shw14, poq3dm5 was picked in the first leg and therefore they can not be picked again now.
and I think that's all by now. as said, please do not forget that the competition continues and get back/stay tuned about that. this has only been the first half so far and also that I forgot to talk about it, beside the potential super final that will happen or not depending in the final score, there's as well planned a all-star game afterwards as usual so stay tuned for that as well. obviously all the details and dates for the all-star game will be posted once the league ends.

btw something that was brought up now in mail and to be clear about it here, as written before and as could have been seen in the first leg, the calendar is all sorted, at least initially, based in the actual team rating at the time it was written and now beyond some exceptional delay or a potential resting week advancement it can not be changed as otherwise it might affect the development of the tournament (i.e. once again they were seeded for a reason as was seen in the first leg) and it goes against the established protocol so, once again, to be clear, all the remaining fights need to be played in the specific order they are currently noted in the calendar and also needless to say that the competition needs to be respected and honored in full as usual.

btw just as a reminder here about the upcoming fights next week please do not forget that I'm still pending to hear from tto what they want to play this Tuesday against ass and that the deadline for that is pretty much today. additionally I'm also waiting from input from ilm to schedule their next week fight against ofp initially confirmed by then for the Wednesday 19:45 CEST with picks 6++, focal_p132, storm3tourney1 already so as with tto please do not forget to get back about that within today/tomorrow the latest.

btw while await for this night tremendous battle among the two top rated teams of the moment that will finally decide the first leg outcome (up to the three places could vary depending on the result) just as a public reminder here this is what I currently have noted for the current fights pending to schedule for the opening week of the second leg:
  • Week 1
    • Team One VS ASS Clan: already agreed for both to be played at the initially suggested Tuesday 13 of October of 2026 20:00 CEST (UTC+02) and tto already picked q3dm14, nodm9a, poq3dm5 yesterday therefore now just waiting for ass to block one from those along to pick three other different maps from that along first leg picks pro-q3dm6, teddm1, bal3dm3, hub3tourney1, overkill, pro-q3tourney7 within today the latest.
    • OFP Clan VS ILM Clan: ofp already confirmed for the Wednesday 14 of October of 2026 19:45 CEST (UTC+02) and picked 6++, focal_p132, storm3tourney1 for this like three days ago. even by this point I still have not heard anything from ilm other than just a respectable fair will intention to assemble therefore giving the circumstances if by today they do not come back with something meaningful to schedule this fight next week or around it then it will just go as currently scheduled whether they can finally meet such date or not. moreover to play the Wednesday all ilm choices (i.e. block and maps different for those along first leg picks charon3dm9, pro-dcmap7, bal3dm3, teddm1, q3shw14, poq3dm5) should be made no later than tomorrow so it's definitively starting to pile up and not look any good.
as usual I just hope that has been made clear so there's no drama later on.

breaking the final of the first leg has finally concluded with a epic draw between the best two teams of the tournament which directly makes ass the first leg winner with a 2 point lead advantage over the second that they will carry over for the second leg, dramatic. dt definitively beat everyone expectations, or at least mines, and they opened with a very strong 10-7 win in reqdm5 that looked almost impossible considering ass is the historic strongest team and record holder of that map yet they pulled it off. they even managed to keep the momentum in the second map and they went as far as to overcome ass in their home map 10-9 despite some of them not even having it installed just a few minutes ago. unfortunately for dt, that was as far as they went, and the feeling is that they simply shot themself out in and in the second half of the fight ass finally displayed tremendous experience and calm to draw the game led by a virtuoso lith that had already pulled off something similar past week against ilm and take home a point that beside giving them the first place of the first leg gives them a 2 point lead in the overall tournament. overall a battle of monumental dimensions that I think that it lived up to the hype so as usual I go update everything now and I'll probably write/analize some more here afterwards. ggs and very well played both.

first things first the ofp-ilm card finally got completed today that I'll probably send/post here tomorrow as I'm finishing with the first leg, no big deal. ok, so now when it comes to the first leg finally everything is complete now in full so great job guys and congrats in completing and honoring at least the first leg in full. let's hope the second leg plays as good and it's as exciting as the first, amazing. as anticipated finally in the very second last game ass won the first leg and in the last scored a draw that sets him as the winner of the first leg with 7 points and a +2 point advantage over the second dt that might prove very important in the final tournament score once both legs finish. as of now just three wins, 6 points, in the second leg would mathematically secure him a spot in the grand final without having to depend in sub scores and depending in the rest of the results they could even be realistically enough to ultimately win the championship without needing the tie-breaker final so as of now with this night result is clearly the bet positioned team for the tittle.

when it comes to the individual scores as usual I just compiled everything now and without further re-do this the best eight list that came out based on a mix of metric and observation, -=ASS=-LITHY!!!, blrskj[OFP], *DT*olc, -=ASS=-G3RMAiN!, *DT*Miroslav, [ILM]Sarasti, *TTO*cTh?!, [ILM]ironmonkey, in that order and with -=ASS=-LITHY!!! as the mvp of the first leg so congrats as well to everyone in a tremendous performance. as commented lith finally showed when it really mattered and already proved fundamental for his team in the second half of their last game against ilm and this night carried his team in a comeback that was worth the first leg it might even be end up proving fundamental for the tournament so very well deserved tittle. I don't think there should be much argue about it. in the other hand blrskj came as a very solid second this time behind but despite his tremendous individual skill it's once again as in Christmas unclear its ultimate team, and therefore game, impact in comparison. in any case as usual I hope nobody take it personal and understand it as what it's, just a list and part of the tournamet, not the ultimate goal.

for the rest as revision also note that finally for other than fau that already reported that he just joined as a backup due the lack of a eight player in tto and nebulason that unceremoniously withdraw from ofp and got banned at least for a edition for it finally everybody showed and played at least some games as it's supposed to be so once again, great job on that as well and looking forward the same in the second leg. additionally in the always controversial balance topic finally with this night result even with half the tournament left to dispute balance has been served and nobody has lost everything the same way that nobody has won everything as it supposed to be from a meaningful tournament so big shout out to the formerly banned clan Diamond from playing their part and bringing the equalizer. obviously nobody is gonna score the same and at the end someone is gonna score more than the rest and actually win this but that's the way it's I think that these results should finally settle the discussion at least for this edition.

and I think that's all then for the first leg, the YouTube videos for this night I'll probably just post them now as I finish writing/posting this and that should be all then with the first leg. now to finish the post I'd like to comment about a few things that were brought during the game this night. first, people really need to stop stirring drama when there's none. that being said, just to be clear, stubbornly fake/random nicking as well as any other kind of stupid shit during the competitive games is not allowed and when done repeatedly and on purpose, which was not case, it's indeed reason to kick or even ultimately disqualification in case of running out of players but I repeat it was never the case and people really need to stop stirring drama just for the sake of it. other than that, as usual, obviously the ultimate champion comes from the results of adding both legs scores as noted in the tournament scoreboard (last post) and that might be just what some people remember. that being said, clearly, as can be seen there's a lot more stuff at play than just that otherwise the tournament, and overall competition in general, would definitively run short if they would just revolve exclusively around a final winner. of course, although ultimately both legs results combine to directly crown a champion or made a super final each of them is ultimately scored independently and it will have a corresponding first place and winner to add to the excitement and it's not just that, there's also a runner, historic records, that for example were denied today from ass and a lot more to this than just a champion. the bottom line is that people should always play their best and not speculate anyway as this is exactly designed to make of any game virtually a final.
