i am Pier no doy Una in the servers. Q3DM14 is a piece of shit.
it is wasted time to play that map more thinking in noob players pushing your back with grenades or rokets... or me camping yellow in bfg room jajaja
this map is like capture the flag but with red armor place. it has no sense and it is boring.
another thing, what is the order of the maps? the loop: some times you play this map, then play another and then return to this map again... i cut my vains. (dont cut let me do that)
why not include q3DM12? maybe it is too big?

sometimes camping isn't a bad rather fun BUT you know camping (as sometimes I do) on apparently unreachable places like above tower etc does NOT gives the camper any advantage, he/she would be kill instantly if misses 2 or 3 shots because he cannot move on that place, it only gives a tired player some fun.
In fact, being killed in action is also a fun, at least i feel that

I dont think to delete dm14 is a good idea, as now it feels like its dm7-dm11-dm14 maps over and over
at least in the evening/night, without it there would be 2 maps left

dm14 can be playable and can be fun.

i think it could benefit from changes
main reason is that one room gives too much of advantage
i can think of swap RA and MH in places
or add one yellow armor to the current MH room
also i advice for finding a way to deleting the arch/ledge in current RA room
on which players spam rockets right through the gate into next room
once somebody would make his place there then the game is alredy over
as team can only move forward through underground section
some players would be up there, abusing this glitch for all 10-15 rounds
im shooting them down from it, but they always climb it up there again
and i end up frustrated faster

dm9 or dm18 perhaps?
there was a period of that these two maps were inmplemented, many players criticize and left
but then many players did try to enjoy them
it would be nice if other maps could roll once or twice a day
good tips, the yellow on the mega room or another adjustment I think it can be a good idea. unfortunatelly maps architecture can simply not be modified like that under normal circumstances. as for dm9/dm18 they are about the worst maps in the game. they can be ok for ffa (where they are played daily) but just not any good for UnFreeZe. if dm14/7 are campy dm9 is camping on steroids beside that map is even seriously bugged. dm18 would just not be any good with people failling to the abyss 24/7 beside it does not even provide any "meaningfull" gameplay beside just shoting good enough for ffa where people also disconnects "en-masse" everytime it loads btw. I think probably people looking for maps/variety should probably just visit the rest of the servers here more often (i.e. ffa, duel, mostly glacius for the 24/7 competitive rotation etc) rather than trying to change UnFreeZe. as I think that already discussed numerous times I belive that after a decade of tuning this is probably about the best this game can do and removing dm14 without a solid replacement as already noted is not really a improvement if not probably the contrary. at the end of the day two top tier public servers are hosted for a reason so whoever wants to skip a map can do so.
Or you could perhaps, and I'm just saying *perhaps* add maps like dm12 for like a week every few months or so so we can see how big of a score we can get, and maybe mix up the rotation every now and then,and I'm saying this because most people will either join unfreeze 1 (65% of the times) or unfreeze 2 aka free fun (25% of the times if unfreeze 1 is full of course) and rest goes between glacius ffa and duel,what I'm trying to say is people who want to chill out and play the game and that's most of this community, they will go to unfreeze 1 whenever it's not full to the brim, but whenever it's full to the brim the server just cycles between 2 or 3 maps, most of the times dm11, dm14 and dm15, people can hardly wait for Dm6 or dm7, even dm8 for a change, I suggest either a change in algorithm in which I notice I can predict next maps with around 75% accuracy (Dm6, 7 and 8 occurring whenever there are 13-17 players, the rest come with 17 players or more) or to just sub out maps for different ones from time to time to break the monotony, for example sub out dm14 for dm12 for a week, then sub out dm12 for dm15 etc. I think you get the gist of what I'm trying to say here is, keep the smaller maps intact (t4, t2 dm2 ,4, 5,13) when there aren't a lot of players, but change maps from time to time for bigger maps like dm11, 12, 14 and 15,keeping Dm6 7 and 8 with 13-20 people max for it to be eligible to be loaded in the algorithm too,60 % of the community don't even know how to download maps and put them in the folder to be able to play glacius, you would be doing us (better players) a huge favor if you were to slide in different maps and switch them from time to time, because dm14 tends to get really lazy when people on your team refuse to do a push on mid to quad, and they just wait to get either pushed in the back by random rockets, or demolished by rockets from the opposing team, and can you remind me why can't you add maps from OSP pack and QL pack to the main server again? I forgot what you said about that 7 years ago, something about copyright, idk I forgot, but if you could somehow bypass all of that, and if people could actually download maps directly from the game and not from this website, it would make the server grow even more, 50% of us here played here from almost day one, I came here 8 years ago and if I remember correctly rotation changed maybe 4-5 times in total without adding maps from outside like osp or ql for example,anyways it would be refreshing to see something different
