yes, as I said, even if a seventh team would end up showing up/assembling (still to be seen it seems) I'd keep the opening week match ups all the same then that team will rest in the opening week and I'll simply adjust the rest of the calendar accordingly from there (i.e. league of seven instead of six implies one more week and rescheduling the match ups) so these should remain. fantastic, noted now, ok I guess that then I can probably just swap the date with the oko match up to make it the Thursday 10 of October of 2024 21:00 CEST (UTC+02) instead so far at the wait of double trouble input. additionally you can probably as well go already thinking about your (usual best of five) maps picks for this.

quite frankly as I told crm you already teamed up past year on immortal and completely dominated the entire season till the extreme that I had to intervene to keep this more or less competitive and exciting. this year both heero and kf willingly left immortal which was more than what I had requested to participate so I don't really see why you just don't continue with that. as I said, I believe that between over and immortal you should have more than enough solid active players to continue with the team and participate this year. I mean, just to name a, I believe realistic, line up olc, d4widoV, crm, shantu, xo, masin, dentist sound like a epic team that could perfectly go all the way so think about it. as said, you're already three noted for that team here so give it a go and let me know, I believe that with one or two more volunteers I could try to assemble the rest to complete the tier.

ok, I guess that then I'll send some personalized individual invitations for that now and we'll see. it would be good (virtually required) to know that within this weekend so let me know. additionally on top of that you also have Команда Сообщество that also got left out in the way by loverex so may be olc could also come with some players of his own to seal the deal. in any case I'm confident that within three former teams it should be more than enough just to build one more competitive team given there's enough real interest in that of course.

So for our match against oKo next week we are now looking if both teams can play on the Tuesday or Wednesday. For ASS the Tuesday is the best option atm! And we are also in talks about a timechange for the match, so instead of 21:00 CEST maybe 20:00 or 20:30 CEST, but nothing has been decided yet. Will keep you informed about this and I hope I can come back with an answer tommorow, so that we can move on to the maps!

ok, as usual by the end of the week and similar times, here is the summary of the things I have noted still left to settle this weekend along with the current status of the matters:

• still waiting to hear if some of the teams want to make some changes and/or add some reinforcement/backup player/s during this weekend to note/register the final line-ups of the teams otherwise the ones already posted here will remain.
• additionally also waiting as well during this weekend to add a seventh competitive team to the tournament (that will rest in the opening week), initially a potential Soobshchestvo/Over/immortal mix-up team, or by any other mean any other team or combination of players that want to participate. so far, individually I just have noted dentist, crm and masin in to participate in this thus they would still need at least three other players (at least four recommended) in order to be able to form a team to participate.
• Team Community VS Double Trouble: team community already provided Monday, Thursday, Friday night availability for their opening match against dt therefore noted for the Thursday night so far at the wait to receive confirmation from dt to proceed with the rest of the usual choices.
• ILM Clan VS Team Ozaru: ozaru has already provided Friday, Saturday and Sunday night availability for this week therefore taken the Sunday night as default date for their opening match against ilm. additionally mike from ilm has already confirmed such date therefore now waiting for ilm to do same as a whole team in order to proceed with the rest of the choies.
• ASS Clan VS oKo Clan: walnut just informed today that both teams are in talk to schedule this either the Tuesday or Wednesday nights and they will get back with a decision in order to proceed with the rest of the choices in the next days.

and unless I missed something I think that's it for now. for the rest in the maps topic, after think about it, as I said, although some maps could be cut (most notably focal/13hell all the rest are or were literally home maps by some team at some point here) I don't really believe that's a problem as to make any changes and they might always come in handy at some point in the future so it's probably better just leave them instead of start changing pools from tournament to tournament. that said I believe that what can be done to make it more competitive since from what I see this edition is pretty much all elite is to have a different map pool for the finals that will decide the tittle instead formed exclusively by all the maps that were at least picked by the teams during the regular phase matches so I just added that now to the tournament rules.

spectacular news, fantastic then I'll note that now and I'll update the calendar in the next days with the match ups for your team. btw big shout out to loverex/olc and let's give credit where credit is due for sticking out to the team despite the hardship this time, that's the way to go, that kinda surprised me, respect. ok, I guess that then you'll represent these guys, stay tuned at the forum for the matches organization in the coming dates. epic then I guess we're all done with the teams, I think it finally turned out a major league, looking exciting to be honest.

ok, "everything" updated now, as said, the final positions of the regular phase has been decided with oKo in first place, ILM in second, ASS in third and DT in fourth, congrats. about the game, as said, I believe that this is a perfect example of I always stress that the whole competition must be played and honored in full and why things are never over until they are over and the importance of building robust teams both in-game as off-game. quite frankly, from what has been seen in-game ILM looked set to take everything this night, first place, historic team rating record and even a potential individual mvp award unfortunately not only that vanished with the no show this night that with such a bizarre results it even complicate their chances of making it to the final as they will have to meet once again their nemesis and reigning defending champions ASS Clan in the semi final to make it into the final to have a shot at their second championship. in the other hand just by showing oKo completely turned things around and now they will go against the fourth place in the semis and will even have a realistic chance of beating their own historic team rating record if they can pull off a significant win there. definitively a big time moment for oKo both in terms of play and of team that in recent times since they were eliminated two years ago from the late champions in that edition the Sbornaya looked in a downward momentum.

great then still at the wait to hopefully decide the fifth place without incidents the Sunday between immortal and community along with the rest of the stats and awards of the regular phase I think that finally it's time to introduce the semi finals of the tournament:

so as go already thinking about those as we speak and get back with schedules dates to leave those set along this weekend. remember that the format for the finals (all of them) is of two legged four rounders without tie-breakers. in the event of a tie the winner gets decided by the combined scorecards in order of importance as usually posted (i.e. rounds, score, kills etc etc). finally remember that as agreed and announced at the start of the tournament focal_p132, 13hell, 13excave, poq3dm5 will be removed from the finals map pool as nobody picked those during the regular phase. all the rest will remain and will follow the usual procedure (i.e. each team picks three maps and the other blocks one with the usual preferences and server choice for the home team) and that the picks will carry on within legs. as usual if someone has some question or anything (meaningful) just ask. have fun and good luck.

ok everything updated and done now with yesterday show games, ggs. additionally let's see if within today or tomorrow now that the regular phase has pretty much ended I finally update the historic records that has been broken so far. if the highly anticipated Sunday fifth place game between immortal and community would happen to shatter all record then I guess that would just be left out for update once the whole finals phase ends in one month (approx), for the rest as said, those involved now go thinking when you can play oKo/DT and ILM/ASS next week and get about that to leave that at least scheduled within this weekend. in particular keep in mind that for example for oKo/DT to be played the Tuesday I'd need pretty much the picks from both (oKo first) by tomorrow or the Sunday the latest so please don't let that for the very last minute.

ok, all the historic records so far updated now so review those and let me know if you spot some mistake and/or if noticed that I (or the code) missed something. in total up to five historic records have been broken so far (highest team damage taken/death, highest team accuracy, highest score, highest kills and highest performance) which I believe it's a more than significant amount. looking back at them now I think that it's both interesting and surprising that for other than the vyaz defenses historical record Sbornaya/Moskva don't really hold any of those from their undisputed reign. I believe that fact combined with the current results and rating would probably make them (arguably) overpowering no more so I think that it's a bit unfortunate that they are apparently really active no more as it looks like probably now most teams could go toe to toe with them. great news, then with tomorrow night game hopefully the Monday I'll complete all the team and individual stats after compiling, reviewing and analyzing them along with the usual awards and the introduction of the follow-up all-star game after the finals around the Christmas holidays and that should be all with the regular phase of the tournament so stay tuned, ggs, well played guys.

now when it comes to the incoming semi finals to be played this week, unfortunately we're at Saturday night already and I still don't have any of those scheduled so quite frankly that's looking in bad shape. to make it clear this the current situation I have noted for that:

1. oKo Clan VS Double Trouble: oko already confirmed for the current suggested Tuesday night and already picked q3dm14, overkill and hub3tourney1 therefore now just waiting to hear back from dt about that no later than tomorrow night, otherwise such date and plan will carry on whether they can finally meet it or not. keep in mind that to play the Tuesday I need as well dt picks and block from those no later than tomorrow night.
2. ILM Clan VS ASS Clan: currently noted for the Thursday 21 of November of 2024 21:15 CET (UTC+01) still at the wait of any input from both to leave that scheduled within this weekend otherwise in case of have no heard back any dates from them by tomorrow night such date will remain whether they can finally meet it or not. same, although there's still a few more time for this, that's not many (I mean just like one spare day), so as usual do not leave everything for the very last minute and start to get back as well with picks starting from ilm (server and maps) as you you get back with the date to leave this set in time and avoid further incidents.

do not forget about that and usual if someone has some question or anything just ask (i.e. there will be no tie-breaker and next week will be played the same games just in opposite order with carry over picks. I hope, everything is clear).
