When somebody connects to the game i get always a small hickup. Do more people have that problem?

4K or 8K is possible!!!!! type this in your console in quake 3 arena (~)

Is your screen realy dark use these settings:

brightness:
seta r_ignorehwgamma 0
seta r_intensity 1
seta r_overBrightBits 1
seta r_gamma 1

Name colors:
,^1 = red , ^2 = green , ^3 = yellow , ^4 = blue , ^5 = ligth blue , ^6 = pink then ^9 makes red and ^7,^8, ^0 makes white.

Use the cvar cg_deferPlayers, ie put in your config:
seta cg_deferPlayers "1"
to prevent lag when someone is connecting with a model not already loaded

I used to get this allot seems to have disappeared after using different pc not sure why tho, and yes was always saying default mod could not be loaded or something

You mean without the green?

Don't use com_maxfps 200 in quake3. You will literally be slower than other people. Use either 125, 250, or 333. Do not use any other values.

Yes !!!! Its so ugly. I know its better to see your enemy, but it looks so dumb. Haha..

I think I posted that before not so long ago around here, \cg_forceskin 0, disable the all green enemies which is the recommendation.
