fantastic, thank you for the update both, noted now. ok, so it seems we are ten already, looking forward getting 12-16 players on the next days (hopefully top ones) and then if possible to attempt that undercard community game on lower tier-maps (from the casual standpoint) like for example the classics 6++, q3dm8, q3dm7, q3dm14, overkill, I think it could be a great fir there.

ok, as I said invited now on a PM as well sn1, klar, semisek, ang3lfish, mike, orgi, mwfq3, jutuli, walnut, berkut, blind, P0rsche, bishop, zord, ixxaaa, cacahuete, viper++, smile, yub, puff, xo, shantu, cliff, pacman, wilo (in that order) to participate on this (either the main ALL-Star game or the community one if it finally happens) for a total of up to 45 people invited so far. I believe like now virtually anybody that I guess could be interested/willing to participate (and reachable/around of course) has been properly invited then in case I missed somebody and/or just anybody else finally is feel free to sign up here anyways.

awesome noted you now then we're eleven with you already. ok, no problem, hopefully if there's enough people two games will be setup so given the case I guess you should of be able to participate on some of the dates. initially it seems like the Wednesday/Thursday combo is winning and probably the Tuesday is discarded then. additionally if for some reason the community game would be possible but the date wouldn't fit I think it could probably delayed to be played along the finals as undercard or similar. that would be obviously for the community game not the initially planned all star game as by them the guys will be involved on the finals instead.

great news, noted you in, then with you we are at least twelve already (ami, fau, blaze, odin, heero, iron, rico, d4widoV, cthulhu, ang3lfish, mike, pacman) so I assume that at least one game will happen and hopefully if on the next days we recruit another dozen players either from the invitations or not two so anybody else interested?

hello guys

as mentioned on the tournament thread I think it would probably be a good idea to use the holidays break (if possible of course) to set the classic tournament all-star game to keep it fun and as warm up for the finals rather than having to wait one plus month to meet up after the finals. as usual the format of the game is just five 6vs6 minimum 8vs8 maximum exhibition games (not best of five scored) with mixed projected balanced teams among the selected (again based on a mix of projections/observations) best players of the tournament. initially for such list I'd name and I invited now by a forum PM ami, ixsy, fau, blaze, ricky, olc, odin, heero, miroslav, ironmonkey, aimer, kf, rico, crm, fusion, magister, nastia, d4widoV, cthulhu, ribx. obviously not everyone on the list expected to ultimately participate be it for a reason or another hence why I'm inviting twenty people just looking for 12-16. in the rare event of overbooking (ex. all twenty people confirming) the order of writing on that list will be the same order of preference and in case of not reaching the target with that people then more people, either from the tournament or not, can be invited (again with the people of the tournament having preference of course). no big deal as I assume that about half the people on the regular season would easily qualify for this, matter of facts, this time it was really hard to come up with any sort of list.

for the initial planned dates, I see the next Tuesday 3, Wednesday 4 or Thursday 5 of January 2023 20:00 CET (UTC+01) as the best opportunities to make this happen during the holidays. in case it wouldn't happen during the holidays I guess it will just tried another time after the finals and if by then the event doesn't happen either then it just won't happen (not big deal as it's not like it has to although I think it's great if it does). for the maps as usual the plan is to play five games regardless of the score and to play something else beyond the usual canonical ultra competitive stuff as promotion (ex. 7++ previous time which it ended up working out even on main events) and fun as well as obviously adequate for more players than just a 5vs5 then this time I think I'm gonna give a try to ospdm1, japandm, ospdm6, q3shw14, teddm1.

excellent then unless I have missed somebody with ami, ixsy, fau, blaze, olc, odin, heero, iron, rico, d4widoV, cthulhu, ang3lfish, mike, pacman, wilo (in that order) we have already 15 people signed which should at least secure the main event mostly with all guarantee superstars and hopefully just with 10 more people or so we should complete the community game as well that given the case it could even be played 5vs5 if necessary (which the maps picks there allow for that). exciting news, waiting for anybody else around interested to sign up, remember that this will be closed and set by the weekend (i.e. Sunday 1 of January of 2023 central European daylight).

yes, for the date I think the Tuesday it's clear that it's discarded so it looks like it will be either the Wednesday or the Thursday (hopefully both so if somebody miss one day can probably do the other).
