Hi,
am using HLSW to launch quake3 and directly connect to a server. For the CTF and the FFA server this does not work because the game type is Q3COMP and that is not supported by HLSW. Is it possible to change it to Q3 or ioq3 because those could be launched through HLSW.

I might try to modify that somehow at some point but not any time soon as that code is necessary for compatibility with the UnFreeZe mod/packages. that's more of a HLSW limitation/bug than anything as the error message isn't even really correct (the gametype display correct there 0/4 respectively for ffa/ctf). in the mean time I guess that you can probably try just by connecting directly with shortcuts to those servers instead.

ok thank you. yes I use shortcuts and connect that way. would have been fancy/ convenient to launch everything through HLSW. i usually like to check if servers are even busy before I open up Q3 ^^
