Spiderbot was a mod for Q3. Bots were supposed to act more like humans, e. g. they strafejumped and such. Maybe that was the request but Spiderbot is also outdated and back in the days when I tried it was not really good. Also I am uncertain how to combine those mods...

yes something like that was my guess probably. I think there was various such bot mods in fact but as you said they didn't even really were that good or even popular to begin with. I believe at some point (near zero priority) I could look up something like that (or similar) for the new community masters server for example. other than that/there it looks like a absolute waste of time (mostly human servers/irrelevant bots).
