Weapons damage & Armor behavior

Hello!

As I asked ingame (and got a lot of different answer :lol:), do someone know weapons damages and how the armor works?

I think rocket launcher (direct hit) and railgun inflict 100 damages, but I don't understand how many with armor.
Sometimes I need like 5 or 6 railgun hit to kill someone, so I guess the decrease should be pretty huge with armor.

yes, rockets and rail are 100 damage each (up to 100 in the case of the rocket as it depends on the distance from the target being hit, that's it, it's not the same a direct rocket hit than the splash damage from a rocket a mile away which can be as low as 1 damage) and the armor absorbs two thirds of the damage (ex. 200/200, 167/133, 134/66, 100/0, 0/0 = death/kill). so basically killing someone on max status (or just beyond 150/150) takes four direct hits supposing he doesn't refresh his status in the mean time (ex, 150/150, 117/83, pick ra 117/183, 84/116, pick couple of armor shards 84/126, 51/59, pick large health 100/59, 59/0, pick ya 59/50, 9/0, -91/0 = death/kill in six 100 hits). in such case it will obviously take as much damage as he's getting according to those ratios. in the case of rockets it will also typically take some more than four hits since as I just said you rarely hit 100% rockets all the time, so yes, with rockets it usually take that, 5/7 hits to take down someone.

Oooh okay, I didn't even know damages were decreasing HP and armor at same time.
