Hey,

Does anyone know this guy?

After clearly having a cheat suspicion against him last night, I went back a notch after having a good look at him, so for me the suspicion continues just on the fact of a potential wallhack and especially autoshoot. The autoshoot on the rail would occur in the case of a very precise movement to make aim style like a pro, but in the end after looking at his shaft is really good too, as are his extremely fast moves (personally I've rarely seen that, even on pro players of the time). He has over 50% constant acc, which is still quite surprising.

So given that the guy laughs about it when asked who it is, all he can say is that he's been smoking the same drug for 20 years and that apparently he's already been tried here for suspected cheating back then too. So his name must necessarily be known? in any case, obviously, it's either an extremely well-known pro gamer from back in the day who's resurfacing or a hopeful troll, so for that reason alone, I'll leave it to the community to decide and discuss whether we ban the guy or not.

The Generail or nocheathere/skull is a well known and old instagib player, he has a youtube channel which contains some of his gameplay videos but unfortunately i don't remember its name, once i remember it i will put the link here so you can investigate further, personally i checked it and reviewed it in slowmotion and didn't notice anything suspicious.

I've also watched him a couple of times and I don't think he's cheating.
Anyway, uncle Dead is on a scam hunt, keep up the good work with your sharp eyes. Maybe one day you'll catch me, chasing a sheep

as can be seen, people have already asked me about that guy. initially unless he changed his connection and ways or something, which could be but I find it unlikely at this point, that's not that skull guy that was mentioned nor anybody else I'm aware off and/or with previous experience at these servers. as for the rest as said, I don't think there's currently enough evidence/agreement as to ban him. in any case thanks for the input.

Personally, I have no desire to watch this kind of video, especially by a guy who takes the liberty of telling others to “watch and learn” when they have doubts about him.
This type of person sees only his ego and nothing else, so personally he deserves absolutely nothing from me, but that may just be my opinion.

With so much skill, it's a wonder he's never rubbed shoulders with the world of ex-real professional players on his “twenty-something” road.

I understand your point of view and respect your opinion. As for The Generail, I haven't noticed him behaving in the way you described. On the contrary, he has helped me multiple times with various aspects of Quake 3, always being helpful and never giving the impression that he is driven by his own ego. From my experience, he is someone who is eager to share his knowledge and support other players. I think something must have gone wrong between you at some point, which may have influenced your opinion, but from my perspective, he is a completely different person. Everyone has the right to their own opinion, but I have a completely different view of his attitude.
I wouldn't be writing this, but almost every day when we play, I see how some people provoke him and write various negative things, especially accusing him of cheating, which is untrue. As for the video above, it's not aimed at people with a lot of experience – I'm sure you already know what’s in it, but others may see the game from the author's perspective.
