ass signed up for the Sunday yesterday so I guess that if the Thursday night works for oKo as well that should be the date for the first leg then. perfect, thank you, noted now then all that is left is to settle the date and for oKo to also block one of those within the next days.

ok ladies and gentlemen the fifth place of the regular phase has been decided with a strong 3:0 win for team community in probably their best match in a exciting game where they prevailed over a immortal team that nevertheless made a great impression therefore this way completing the season and honoring the competition in full, congrats to both of you, well done, ggs. as usual, results, stats and hopefully some regular phase awards to come so stay tuned.

ok, finally everything done with the regular phase then, stats and awards included so review that and if anything just let me know, ggs. as for today games being a final already I'll produce them then with the special render for the inside finals videos as all the rest that will follow. for this edition I finally upgraded that format so now it should pretty much look like hdtv basically. I mean, that would essentially be the format in what that would broadcast over the air so now those should look relevant to the current 2020+ decade times (I tested some before in a tv monitor and they just looked like any other commercial tv channel). that now is the maximum format the current workstation can reasonably produce (within a reasonable amount of time), the current factor for those is around 1:12 in time now so considering the upload time the delivery time should be pretty much similar at the end of the day if not better if you take in consideration as well YouTube production time that adds up. the YouTube versions of those ones I'll probably produce them at some point as currently I'm looking forward for a new server/workstation to update during this month/blackfriday deals to then produce those in 4k instead so I'll just upload those at some point in the future. by now the inside videos should just do the job I guess.

great then as for the awards so far, I think that for the teams I'm going to give team community a sportsmanship award for their perfect clean trajectory all over these years of tournaments and a medal of honor to the whole immortal team for their great courage and good spirits completing and honoring as well the competition in full, well done guys. in addition to the usual combined team stats I added as well individual stats this time there so check it out. it sucks a bit that due the ilm no show in the last week they are a bit incomplete/broken (i.e. not normalized) so it's what it's. in that individual regard tomorrow I'll write the follow-up all-star game nominations and invitations so far I also write here as well the usual mix-up best eight player list for the regular phase consisting this time of [ILM]Blaze, *DT*Miroslav, oKo*WhoAmI?!, TC!Heero, [ILM]vrtx, -=ASS=-RICKY!!!, -=ASS=-Ric0_, -=ASS=-ang3lfish in that order with oKo*WhoAmI?! as the most valuable player of the phase due carrying his team into the first place, congrats.

fantastic, for the rest, today finally this week semi finals have been scheduled for the Thursday and Sunday (oKo/DT and ILM/ASS respectively) then I believe that we're finally all set to get started with the next and decisive phase of the tournament. other than that on the potential fifth place second leg undercard final community reported earlier today that unfortunately they will be unavailable/uninterested during these few coming weeks to dispute that then I guess that unless someone else, not from the tournament, wanna make up for that this will be as well the end of the road for immortal in this edition, once again, well played guys and congrats on the sixth place even topping the likes of roxor, lith, champi etc etc.

as usual review that and if anything just let me know, otherwise fight hard, fight clean, have fun and good luck. as said but just to make it clear once again remember that the finals (all of them) are disputed as two four rounder games instead of just one without tie-breakers as it was the case of the last grand final here. obviously winning five games gives the match-up (and it would end there, that would be the score, any potential further game would be off-the-record) and in the event of a draw (i.e. 4:4) the tie is broken instead by the combined scorecard over the whole match up (i.e. the eight rounds). additionally keep in mind that the picks carry over within the legs so to make it clear for example what's left to pick for the second leg of this oKo/DT game next week is pro-q3dm13 or nodm9a, reqdm5, bal3dm3, q3dm8, storm3tourney1, pro-q3tourney2, charon3dm9, phantq3dm1_rev, pro-q3tourney7, pro-dcmap7, goldleaf. I assume ILM/ASS should have no problems with the format as they has already played this so I hope that it's as well clear for the rest. as usual, if anything just ask. great news then one is done and now just waiting to complete the other one for the Sunday within the next days starting with ILM choices (maps and server).

for rest I'm still reviewing and analysing stats so hopefully later on I can introduce as well the all-star game with the nominations and invitations for that. as for the next week games, I'll also introduce those this night but I believe that by now that should be known already, just the same match-ups of this week with inverted orders so stay tuned.

ok, finally yesterday night I finished completing and more thoroughly reviewing all the tournament stats so far, ggs. as said, from what I see I believe that both in terms of competitiveness/balance and skill this is probably the best edition so far, it definitively looks like a improvement even over the last year super league that was very competitive already. it's interesting that for example team community despite underperforming in the scores it has actually somehow statistically improved (or at least not significantly declined) over their last appearance. thing is that now the top tier teams look like they have actually improved both in rating and stats into levels previously only seen in former undisputed champs and the likes. in fact, I believe that with this data Ozaru would have probably had a hard time in materializing their overpowering super team projection/expectations even if they would have put the effort. unfortunately in the other hand, it appears that immortal has indeed lagged in this edition as it was expected since pretty much the whole original team (instead of just one single unique player as requested/intended) had withdraw either explicitly or implicitly for the most part so it looks like probably for the future they are gonna need something else more than just one more top player beside loverex/olc. they are probably gonna need to be completely rebuilt to be competitive again, still, even in that aspect they clearly outperformed the last season sixth place by a significant margin and even managed to take a map against the first place in one of the most memorable moments of the regular phase so that even felt like a improvement over the previous edition as well.

additionally about the all-star follow-up game after further computation of the given data the code has given the following public card:

so definitively looking forward hosting/organizing that as well once the finals end around Christmas time. as said, invitation PM already sent to everyone in that list, if someone hasn't received it or anything just let me know. as wrote there, I obviously don't pretend now that anybody commits to a game like a month in advance with this (that's just a invitation for you to know to then concrete and agree when the time comes), that said, if someone already knows that it's not gonna be available/interested please say so to then start looking for somebody else to make the event happen as planned. the idea this time is for a competitive all-star game following the success of the last (similar) promo event back in September so it will target hopefully a 6vs6 without changes if nobody misses (if someone does then it will just go 5vs5 instead, no big deal). for the maps I consequently took the most played maps in the tournament so far suitable at least for 5vs5 or more (ex. no hub, no req etc) which basically gives the list posted. as for the teams, as said, at this level of skill it gets really hard to assemble any teams as virtually any of the 462 possible match-up combinations would literally give a showdown then to be safe following the metrics on previous events this time I wrote a actual code to search the entire tree which gave the encounter posted as the best possible solution given the available data so I think that, if everybody shows, it's gonna be very interesting to see how that ultimately plays out.

hehe I know that such a team would easily be a no match but when you see the blue team, and specially when you compare it player to player, I wouldn't take any of that for granted. we will see who finally shows up (there's still a month left for that so there can still be changes) but if hopefully everybody shows I can probably already anticipate that is gonna be legendary. ok so with a day of delay due all the work finishing up with the regular phase stuff but finally here are now the next week second leg games to leave scheduled this week as usual:
