no, I don't think I changed anything to the shotgun. I mean, the shotgun will feel (be) different from vq3 just for the fact of the unlagged code but for the rest I don't recall making any changes to it.

Another dumb question.
We have this guy TPACTOP ( Tractor) who disconnects and reconnects all the time.
Like if he's on the losing side he'll disconnect before the final round has been played and reconnect when the next round is underway.
If he's on the winning side he´ll wait till the round is over and then disconnect only to reconnect when the next round has already begun.

Question is; is there some specific reason for this, like padding of stats or whatever.
I'm not accusing him of cheating or anything like that just that this is very weird and he's been doing this for a long time.

I think the reson for such behaviours is very well known already, try to exploit the team balance. if the situation gets out of hand that's a reason for an actual ban nvertheless.

Well as I said he's been doing this for a long time and if this is considered an exploit then he's an obvious cheater.
He'll wait till after final score if he's winning and then disconnect.
He'll disconnect before last round has been played through if he's losing.
Hell, He'll even disconnect in mid fight if he's getting killed.
Only to reconnect again when his timer is out.

I confirm what Unix said and I admit that with the repetition of this behavior it ends up being unpleasant at the very least.

I took a look at that yesterday but although annoying I did not really find it successful at completely wrecking the balance/games so I guess that so far I'll just note that as a warning. in any case, thanks for the input both.

yes it is unpleasant sometimes, and even if it breaks the game from time to time, it is not very serious. if you can send him a message so that he stops or if he reads these lines and takes them into account that would be perfect...

would it be possible for you to close this place (see images) which is useless except to hide while the other players finally come to check that no one is hiding there. It is the favorite place of players who like to waste time for nothing... Pretty annoying and does nothing but draw out time and pad stats for ppl with a hard on for such things.

these weeks I'm gonna be mostly busy with the ongoing tournament so beside maintenance and similar tasks I'm not gonna get dragged with anything beyond that. that said, after that I guess that then I can probably edit that map to get rid of that spot given the case.

as I see it, I believe that room was created for the quad (that doesn't even spawn in this mode) not for camping there "24/7". once you remove the quad out of that room I don't believe it really serves any real purpose other than unnecessarily drag the fight anymore from can be seen so probably I'll edit it. as usual, I'm not editing it just because one guy asked for it or not editing it because everyone opposes it (even if that were the case), I do it because there's a actual reason and argument for such change (i.e. because the change makes actual sense) not just for popularity.

Why exactly would this place be "banned"? This is sometimes a good way to win a round. When I was alone in a team, e.g. 1 vs. 6, 4 opponents tried to kill me, but they died. Then I went down and unfreezed my teammates and we won the round.

Or maybe just change the teleport location? For example, on RA, YA, next to the secret place at the second teleport, etc.

You could also completely block the door that enters there and change the teleport to another place.

Or just turn on the grenades that shoot when you enter there?

Additionally, it would be nice to have shards in that area. There is little armor on this map, and none at all in that place.
