Hi Girls and Guys,

Those of you who aren't aware, our beloved adminless has built us an amazing new server with ALL custom maps. Read about it here:

To join you have to download the Glacius mappack (no auto-download enabled to protect your system):
ftp://ftp.fpsclasico.de/glacius_mappack.zip
...and save it to your official ioq3v6-unfreeze-client folder as usual.

Do not worry about the server address if you are using the officical unfreeze client, as Glacius is already listed in your server list.
If you are using some other client, please see adminless' thread for the latest addresses. Both ipv4 and ipv6 options are available.

I was thinking Sunday evenings should be calm for everyone or most, so I propose those who are interested come play on Sundays at 8PM CET.
I will hang out there at least 30 minutes starting 8PM each Sunday, even if I'm by myself ...as the maps are fun even with just the bots.
But considering how crowded and full the main servers get, this is YOUR chance to play a different map.

WhoamI recorded a few videos I believe, although not when the crowd was in. Hopefully he can upload.

btw if some of you record some nice demo and wanna upload it here I could probably post and host a video here (screw YouTube for this). I think it can be a good idea to promote the server and get more people interested.

I only recorded 2-3 movies / demos at the time. They are not the worst, but I do not like how I played them. I have a lot of points and a lot of frags, but many times I missed the railgun. That night I played after a few beers and I wasn't focused

But I have many better movies / demos from the server unfreeze that I would not be ashamed of, which were really good and there are many frags. For example in a minute 11 frags at the beginning. Or in 15 minutes 65 - 70 points, or those where I had over 90+ points. Alternatively, super flickshots. Or a video with 93% overall accuracy Practical I didn't miss any shot from rail I can boast of such video

Gah! too late to see this thread .. some of my old fav maps on that server.
We used some of the Q3 Team Arena maps back in the day as well.
