Adminless the thing with Lithz is that he wont probably even be available for most of the matches, so whats the problem with rotating him with Heero a few times?

that's not the way it works, quite frankly that was just a exceptional gimmick back in the day for a one off small tournament. obviously it's not the way it's supposed to be and it can not become recurrent. if you look at the final line-ups (that I'll post soon) every major team with the sole exception of immortal that unfortunately instead of adding, removed, added a top player of comparable skill (audaz, runtheon, lihensior, heero/lithz) but not two and the previous tournament was very balanced so it's completely fair. other way then it would obviously be a complete rip off towards the rest of the teams that adhere more or less to that. to be honest with you, rather than have these top tier "newcomers" team up like this in the place mostly all of lower tier players, they could have perfectly team up all together in a new team to expand the tournament and potently even dominate or just simply reinforce the notorious 2023 champs (immortal which many were offered to and apparently unceremoniously declined to) so if they didn't participate in any other way it's because they chosen to as they had plenty of other options as I've have just commented.

@walnut beside for that matter if the guy just want to play a couple of random games he can just perfectly do so at any of the pickup games or wait for a community game afterwards. quite frankly for that matter I don't think it's necessary to join a tournament like this.

i would rather to add them to immortals since ass is stacked up enough, but its your decision and nobody can force players to join a team they might not want/know.

hey once again, I totally agree with you, as I wrote time and time again every time one of these top tier players showed I forward them to immortal and time and time again they just kept unceremoniously declining so quite frankly they brought this on themselves. you should not forget that though as you perfectly noted I can not force anything on anyone (as much I can just suggest) at the very same time I'm perfectly free to chose just to not relate and waste my time with people that isn't on the same page. as simple as that.

ok, still at the wait of promptly resolve the line ups issue to post them here I just completed the tournament scheme and renamed it accordingly as "champions league" as this is what basically it's now so please go check there and review that there's no mistakes. after adding up everything it will just run out one week more than anticipated due the week of delay in signing up basically. to be clear it's just a legged group without finals or anything as already commented for five teams. the choices between match ups carry on between legs so keep that in mind. the match format is the same that has been successfully played lately at any major final, that's it, four rounds without tie-breakers, though each leg gets scored separately here so the max result in a match is a 3:0 and not 4:0 (by the 3:0 the match is officially over) and therefor now there's draws as possible outcomes in a match and as recorded in the scoreboard. as usual in the event of any ties at any positions they are broken by the scorecards in the same order as recorded in the scoreboard and I think that should basically be all for the introduction thus without further redo here are the first matches to start to schedule and organize as we speak to hopefully leave them set no later than the Sunday:

  • ILM Clan VS Immortal Clan (Tuesday 8 of April of 2025 21:15 CEST [UTC+02])
  • ASS Clan VS Team One (Thursday 10 of April of 2025 21:00 CEST [UTC+02])

Just dont add lithz,problem solved, I don't know why all of this has to be a debate,we all added people so we can make this as entertaining as possible,maybe i went a little bit over the top but thats because my 3 main guys (cliff rico and walnut) are unavailable,and to be honest with all of you i just want to compete and have fun, it's not about winning it all its about having enough players to compete,anyways tldr; the lineup will be

yes, that's totally fine and I can add as well walnut there just to be safe along with gladi for dt that was out as safeguard (no longer needed) regardless of they finally show up at any game or not as I don't think that interferes with the tournament at this point. no problem, I'll log it now and I'll post it here now then. good luck and have fun, thanks for participate.

Btw sorry for the late submission,walnut was really iffy on if we should compete at all cuz 3 of them won't be around to play,i literally have to put up a last second team and ask them if they are avaliable at all,only half of them responded and then i had to resort to adding people who can play, among them were heero and lithz,but as you know lithz is only partially avaliable cuz of his working schedule,heero is always kinda there and i always wanted him on my team,not just because i didnt have enough players but because he is good,so,walnut put up the first team and i don't know why i thought that team would be accepted but here we are now,all fixed

then please review those and let me know if there's a mistake or anything otherwise I guess that should be it. keep in mind that only those in that list can participate in the games and that everyone in that list must play at least one record game (i.e. a map) before the end of the tournament with the exception of vrtx, iron, walnut and gladi that already reported that they might not be available and are exempt due no foul play suspected (i.e. it's not like vrtx, iron, walnut and gladi are pets that were registered merely to lower the team rating to that way bypass the arbitration or for any other yet foresable tactical situation). additionally I think that since immortal did not even registered eight players and given their current line up I think that they can just be given a wildcard player (i.e. any random or not so random player not in the competition) as their eight (ex. eventually lithz at some point, olc etc etc) in a effort to make it at least a bit more exciting and comfortable considering their struggles. ok and now that's all, as said start planning this week ILM Clan VS Immortal Clan and ASS Clan VS Team One matches and get back about those when you can to leave them set along the week as usual.
