I have a Linux PC and a MAC, for a few weeks I have tested the launcher "Ioquake3-intel.x86_64" which has improved performance. Is there a version planned for OSX?

the provided (64 bit) package comes with a mac app that "should (generaly) work" provided you are able to intall it yourself. additionally you have a osx binary only package you can download here which is intended to be run from the console (check readme for instructions) and it's known to work.
