Sbornaya (ixxaaa leader/representative) finally got back to the weekend reminder this morning and confirmed what former Soobshchestvo leader loverex had said that none of them will participate on this edition. ok then that means that all that is left is just to hopefully hear from heero/the community whether they will finally make it to this as well or not to proceed with the opening schedules.

for the rest as I see it so far I believe the rpg3dm2 replacement call seemed to be the right one so far. as said, I believe that although 69pickup1 could be better suited for this is likely lower tier compared to rpg3dm2. charon3dm9 that I also dropped it on the poll as well, was the third option I had considered for the replacement. I just had omitted it from my previous commentary because the same that could be said about rpg3dm2 could be said as well about it (i.e. size) and definitively rpg3dm2 is clearly the best option of the two at least when it comes to up-to-date gameplay.

ok, sounds good to me, welcome in team pride then. though considering the core (5 people) of that team is basically the same as on the previous edition/s I guess I'll simply note the appropriate changes and I'll rename you as team pride. good luck and thanks for joining in. great news then we have already at least 6 teams confirmed. as said, hopefully initial schedules and final line ups will come out tomorrow night, Wednesday morning so please stay tune.

heero duels team is in and registered now so I guess that we're finally assembled. let's still wait until tomorrow night as established but now I don't really see anybody else showing up (a potential community team, other of the well established one of course, is nowhere to be seen, f$ is death as well soo and the last I heard about n8 was that they just had 3 people available and both ofc and ez has ruled out participating). I guess that that probably should be it and hopefully we should be set to get this finally started.

yes I'm telling you this looks like a super league and let's give credit when credit is due and acknowledge that everyone finally signed up. I believe that probably nobody failed to join and those are always great news because if everyone delivers that will really give a lot of credit to the winner later on. no small talk this time, get ready because big time games are coming one after another your way. ok, just as a last reminder in case there's some (unexpected now) team still around that haven't signed up yet, there's still one (final this time by now I won't take any more teams) eight team spot left for this in case somebody (ex. a community/mix team, some team around ...) want to take it until tomorrow night (i.e. around this time in 24h).

One question: is there enough spawnpoints on these tiny maps in the poll for 5v5? won't ppl get telefragged on the begining of a round by other spawning players?

there's enough (all maps has at least 10 spawn points) besides there's telefrag protection already in the mod anyways.

well it's Tuesday night and no eight team showed so I finally adjusted now the calendar here accordingly and unless you spot some mistake there or something (in such case please let me know) I believe we are good to go and it's finally time to get started. ok, I believe that most of you are veterans here so I'm not gonna go much in detail but just for reference to make it clear here is as well the list of registered teams and their players that will be allowed on this:
  • ilm: blaze, ironmonkey, mike, fus1on, orgi69, makveli
  • pride: parovoz, ixsy, nastia, ixxaaa, odin, labr, vyazemskiy5-7, network
  • oko: whoami, magister, cthulhu, cachuete, yub, bl!nd, venum, mango
  • wtf: miroslav, kf, olc, p0rsche, berkut, frag_masin, viper, dd-def
  • community: fau, semisek, aimer, mywifehatesq3, lee, pks, ribx
  • ass: ricky, walnut, ang3lfish, rico, cliff, toxic, redrum, spite
  • over30: heero, d4widov, noobzordofzords, slr, crm, cybra, purejoint, xo
those will be the only guys allowed to participate on the tournament and they must adequately identify themselves at all times, fake nicking/changing nicks at random is explicitly forbidden. teams that miss to follow that can be subject to be given the corresponding match lost or even disqualified altogether from the tournament. additionally please remember that in this edition map blocks have been introduced for both the opponent picks and the tie-breakers that means that now teams must chose three maps instead of two that they must properly announce at least two days before the match date to be able to properly announce as well the blocks at least a day before the match date. again is asked to everyone to cooperate for a better development of the tournament and typically announce such choices in advance (particularly for the "home" teams on each match) rather than trying to waste the whole deadline. in that regard remember that teams that miss any deadline to announce and/or that lack consistent communication and/or that drag the calendar for any reason can be as well subject to penalization.

ok as for the pool much to my surprise charon3dm9 finally won the poll here so it now made it to the tournament pool instead of rpg3dm2 so to make it clear this is the list of the only maps that will be allowed to played on the official matches as well as the subsequent list of tie-breakers (first set of three from those minus each team block):

-map pool -tie-breakers well and that should be it I don't think it's worth it write a book, if somebody has some question or anything and/or want to correct something from that just let me know. other than that, long story short, let's get to business here are the opening matches for the next week:
  • ILM Clan VS Team Over30 (Tuesday 1 of November of 2022 21:00 CET)
  • Team Pride VS ASS Clan (Wednesday 2 of November of 2022 21:00 CET)
then please the involved teams of those fights get back to me with schedules (in case of can't meet those) and/or your map choices for this. good luck to everyone and have fun.

Hello!
We need to move the game start time to 19:00 CET... Because 21:00 CET it's too late in Moscow (+2h)

unfortunately 19:00 CET is too early in Europe, at that time most are either still working or just coming back from work. it could be tried but I doubt it will generally work. may be 20:00 CET could be done for your team, depending always on the other team and the circumstances as well. at those times (20:00-21:00 MCK UTC+03 | 18:00-19:00 CET UTC+01) the only possibility would be just to play your fights on weekends instead like Sundays for example if you prefer and always depending on the rest. if you want I can probably arrange that for you (ex. Sunday 6 of November of 2022 19:00 CET - pride vs ass). btw speaking of which there's still plenty of time but have you decided already what three maps are you gonna chose from that to play?

for the rest in line with that I scheduled two fights per week as to give some room for some potential changes and/or delays (as can be seen basically). probably a three fight per week schedule could be viable (ex. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) but that would be way too forced in the long run and therefor there would be virtually no room for any potential incident there. hence the two fights per week schedule was established and all teams must at least keep a pace/deadline of two sets of fights (i.e. 6 fights in total) within a three weeks term. in that sense, in case everything goes smooth there's also the possibility to advance a fight or so per week in case the situation allows for it and we would finish before than established, just let me know. in any case and to make it clear, the deadline to make the fights happen is at least of two set of fights each three weeks.

btw now that I think about it, this Tuesday 1 is holiday I believe in many parts of the world then may be one possibility could be to swap the schedules to then do 19:00 CET for you this week:
  • ILM Clan VS Team Over30 (Wednesday 2 of November of 2022 21:00 CET)
  • Team Pride VS ASS Clan (Tuesday 1 of November of 2022 19:00 CET)
please let me know if that would do it for your team then (and same about ass). it should be holiday so I assume there should be no problem.

I wanted to write regarding the dates of the games, my clan will not be able to play every other week starting from the first week. (from October 31 to November 4, then from November 14 to November 18, etc., etc.) the afternoon shifts at workplaces do not allow us to pick all players. Everything is to be agreed, of course, with the prior notification of the leader or one of the players of the given team and the event organizer.
