don't worry man this is finally just a single date event and is currently scheduled for this Sunday 2 of April of 2023 21:00 CEST (UTC+02) so it has nothing to do with May (May events, if anyone, will come up later on a separate thread with different people and so on). I just sent you now (in a forum PM to your account) event card as the rest just to be safe, it's ffa so it's ok if you finally can't show up and/or arrive late, leave early or whatever, no big deal. ok, cthulhu also joined for this on PM now so then I assume that with 12 people signed this is finally happening this Sunday 2 of April of 2023 21:00 CEST (UTC+02).

unlucky, yes, probably I guess we'll do (or at least try to do) this Sunday and if it doesn't work then we'll try to look for another date if not then catch you on the next one. as said, unfortunately you're never (or virtually never you get the point like once a year) gonna find a date that works for everyone. the current Sunday 2 night seems to work for the majority then that's what we'll try. in any case, thanks for reaching out.

it's gonna be played a Sunday night and people is gonna go to work on Monday. it's a five games event (15 mins timelimit per game) so I assume by starting at 21:30 it might (potentially) end up getting too late for some (23:00+). I guess we can probably delay a bit the start time like 15 minutes or so until 21:15 CEST (UTC+02) but that's probably all about it. anyways as I said it's a ffa event and although obviously it's not meant to connect/disconnect at random it's not such a huge deal if somebody arrives late/leaves early/have to miss or anything. I'm quite certain by 21:30 there will be games happenings (if it's gonna be 21:15 likely the second) so just connect and join the game when you can. that should not be a problem.

I know, thing is that this was meant to be a small tournament and the heats were meant to be played all on standard maps and I had instead those maps reserved for the grand final. unfortunately it just happened that there has been finally no heats and instead just a "grand final" (i.e. a event) so I had to end up mixing the maps to account for that as I said. anyways both those maps are top tier premium deathmatch maps and they aren't by any means over complicated or anything, I don't think people should encounter any problems with them and I think that it's always refreshing precisely that, to play/do something something outside of the UnFreeZe canon. I mean, at the end of the day that's the purpose with the events and why people join them.

btw there's still a few spots left for a ffa game tomorrow night here regardless of the final turnout, like 2 or 3, if somebody is interested as well on taking them do not hesitate to join here and participate, have fun.

so we've got Miroslav on first place with 326 out of the 335 possible points (97.3%) as the fpsclassico king of kings event winner, community and masters legend fau as a close second with 301 points (89.9%), notorious community player cacahuete as a solid third place with 283 points (84.5%) and prominent community player ironmonkey leading the pack with 261 points (77.9%) as the fourth place of the event. congrats guys, well played, great games. overall top notch event not really sure why among the 500 unique daily players at the servers we were unable to setup at least a couple more of games as intended but it's what it's, I think that it was nevertheless a dream final and it worked pretty good.

ok, so that's it by now, tomorrow the vids up on their respective separate thread and now just looking forward the next event then. hopefully at least a couple of duels at a small master tournament now that this is done. we'll see so stay tuned and thank you all for participate.

videos up since this morning, great games, total massacre. I was reviewing them now and all in all I think that this time it worked even better than the previous one. I believe this time there should be no complains with the videos, overall a lot more competitive and disputed, vicious. it's evident this time people indeed did really prepare for the challenge. ok, I guess these are probably the right settings for this server and setup for the event, as said, initially I plan on hosting other events next (to be seen) but I guess that here and there we can probably try another round like this when there's nothing else going on from time to time. catch you on the next one.
