UnFreeZe Tournament Summer 2026

Post by adminless »

unfortunately be it for some reasons or another I ended up missing up the spring edition as I had initially planned/anticipated but at least this time I'm only a season off not like a whole year. ok, so as usual I think that it's probably about time to start off with another potential UnFreeZe tournament to follow up the highly exciting Christmas cup that concluded with the force parangon as reigning champions hopefully to be disputed within this summer. initially due the time of the year we're in I assume that it should probably be a similar event to the last Chritsmas edition with a few 3-5 teams although I'm open to other formats given there's enough interest/turnout for that as usual of course. initially I believe that a good timeline could probably to assemble/organize during these coming weeks to the start playing after the FiFa Wolrd Cup 2026 concludes although once again I'm also open to leave this open further if a later time (ex. fall) can be more convenient. as a update about my father I think I already posted this but if not I just do now, he indeed ended up being discharged for good from rehab by the beginning of this year as a chronic patience and by now he has concluded all treatment and recovery options available so in regards to him all that is left now is merely a formal tramit (that can extend over almost years) to determine the exact degree of permanent disability he will end up with and the corresponding public compensations that belong to him so unless something changes I'll just keep taking charge of him as it has been the case for over a year already in the foreseeable future. given that everything should be similar to the last and previous editions I believe that this time the only change would be that the fight schedules would be a hard 18:00-22:00 CEST approx and obviously to agree beforehand on a date basis as usual as now that my mother is gone and thus I have to pretty much do everything myself that's the schedule I finally ended up for personal time and thus after 22:00 is when I feed my father do the dishes and so then that will be the time for the games. initially I don't think there should be any problems with that as for example 20:00-22:00 was indeed a pretty much standard fight schedule just a bit ahead and specially now during the holidays I think it can work out thus if anything just let me know. and I think that's all by now so as usual those interested or anything just feel free to sign up and/or get in touch here to participate just as a brief reminder please remember that all teams must be registered beforehand and that must consist in between 6 and 8 players with 7 being the recommended minimum.

sounds good, as said, until the FiFa World Cup ends nothing will be played as there's no point and even after that we can probably still wait a week or two to get started assuming the rest of the other teams show up but if the fall it's more convenient I'm also ok to leave it for later. in such case maybe late August/early September at the holidays comeback could be a good time to get started. also that way let's see if I finally get to move and decommission this old web server as it was intended almost like a year ago since I got that spare black Friday deal as although the spam is pretty much under control the (literally) tens of thousands of bots hitting it almost non stop are definitively starting to take a toll on it which can likely be a issue later on along the journey. ok, thanks for the input, let's see if someone else joins then.

Hello, we are trying to assemble as well. Would be nice to have at least few matches before the classic fall tourney will hopefully return in some real numbers as it used to 👍

Yes sounds good. I think there's room at least for four teams this summer minimum. at least if not all the usual people most of them with a few changes. anyway from what I see the wc doesn't end until mid July so I guess that until the end of the month the earliest we should not start so there's still time to meet up. as usual those interested in participate do not forget to announce your full roster before the start of the tournament and keep in mind changes beyond that will not be allowed. ok, once it's a bit more clear what's going to happen I'll post the usual tournament bracket but I believe that by now everyone should be familiar with that.

tomorrow gets played the grand final of the world cup and I think that as of now nobody has joined for this so far thus I think that from what I heard from the guys that reached out so far it's probably better then to leave this for the holidays comeback after the Summer around September or so then please those interested stay tuned by then.

first obstacle is to register for what you need at least 6-8 non banned players. currently you have virtually none, just berkut and shadow that are not even really active/interested, you're noted noted as perm ban. you can give it a try to build a team if you want and see how it goes from there but as of now I don't see it happening.

initially you're due repeated consistent crazymaking and essentially never getting anything done as already noted and explained after the last tournament. that being said if you're able to produce a credible team and appeal it could be reviewed but the initial stance is that after something like a decade of messes up time and time again and with very different people involved you're no longer allowed to participate.

Even if everything had been fine with the team in the latter case and I had stayed, I still wouldn't have been able to participate in at least half the matches because that's when the local internet blackouts started. I couldn't even see the servers. During the first match, yes, my internet worked. Besides, there were at least seven other players on that m-team besides me. And many were fighting for the right to play. On the other hand, I partly agree with you. But on the other hand, this is a new team, and I'm not the type to sit on the bench if I have the opportunity to participate. I think we should make a rule that a clan can consist of up to five players. And if one player doesn't show up for a match, that's the clan's problem, not yours or anyone else's, because playing with four is more difficult. And don't be afraid that it won't be as spectacular or perfect as if it were 5v5. Life is full of things that aren't perfect, and trying to force them into a formula can be a bad idea.

In the case of the "fake WTF," if you're not familiar, the following happened: Miro, KF, and olc decided to play for the WTF clan. Berkut and I agreed. Then, right during the match, Miroslav and KF insistently say, "Let's replace Berkut and Porsche's player with Masin and Viper." Do you even think this is appropriate behavior? And why aren't they getting banned for disrupting team stability during the match? I was against KF, Miro, or anyone else swapping for Viper or Masin. The team needs to show its best; that's the point of a tournament and esports competition, not just having fun.

and that's all, Adminless, just 2 cases, so I have no idea what you're talking about, some kind of systematic instability or something like that, and nothing more than an inflated myth so that people have something to occupy their minds with)
Furthermore, I think we should allow clans or rosters of players with an esports focus to compete against each other in local, unofficial matches, such as on a Ranked server. Otherwise, there's no room for development. How will players practice esports if they're afraid to host a clan match on a ranked server? Everyone's afraid of being punished. Coordinating this small event takes a long time and wastes both yours and others' time. These are training matches anyway, but as I understand it, players are afraid to even do that. Thank you for the awesome servers and for the Unfreeze.

the fact is that you're one of the most outspoken members here but in several years of tournaments and events you just played in four ranked games despite showing up in almost every topic. that's the reality and I'm not gonna play a blame game now about years olds stuff but as I also explained you what you seem to be complaining about time and time again are just the normal differences and discrepancies in a team/life and do not seem to justify nor lack proportion to your overreactions. As I said, if you're gonna get fire up like that at any stuff then your only option to participate would be to assemble a team of your own and then we'll see as so far such team do not exist. other than that I do not want you and I will not allow you in any other team as it has been more than proven by now that it's not gonna work so by this point the fault would be mine nor yours or of the team that (unknowlingly) takes you.

For the record: porsche and berlut did not want to play against ami and they made racistic comments towards kf. Ofc we rather play with viper and berkut who are loyal and have basic manners. Quite pathetic to cry about that now and only share half the story.

Some people seem to get a kick out of porsches comments in this community but he does not add any value at all but distracts and destroys everything he touches

Agree with miro, all p0rsche ever does on the server or discord is try to bait reactions and cause arguments. He has no place in a tournament here. The ami dick sucking could be ignored but when he blatantly ruins not only public games, but also tournament games because he cant play in the same team... the ban should stay permanent.
