ok guy very exciting new it looks like finally today the card for decisive match up between the reigning defending champions double trouble and sensation of the tournament operational force parangon to be disputed this Friday evening has finally completed as follows:
  • stage: UnFreeZe Christmas 25/26 supercup
  • match-up: Operational Force Parangon VS Double Trouble
    • OFP: Dentist, Belaruskij, M1rage, Abibas, olc, KOVSKY, KRISAdm7, Zoti
    • DT: miro, lihensor, kf, tuby, shantu, gladi, edversion, redrum
  • server: fpsclasico.de:27968 or fpsclasico.eu:27968
  • gtv: fpsclasico.de:27969
  • picks:
    • OFP: q3dm8, q3dm14, poq3dm5 (-)
    • DT: bal3dm3 (-), hub3tourney1, overkill
  • maps: q3dm8 , hub3tourney1 , q3dm14 , overkill
  • date: Friday 9 of January of 2026 19:15 CET (UTC+01)
  • ruleset: competitive UnFreeZe 5vs5 rulesets, no mid-game changes nor spectators allowed
great news then it looks like we're finally all set to decide (by now at the wait of the outcome) who the winner of this great UnFreeZe Christmas 25/26 supercup will be so as said please have fun and good luck to the both competing teams. additionally it appears as well that the remaining match up between ofp and too has as well agreed for the Sunday 11 of January of 2026 19:00 CET (UTC+01) instead and now thus just at the wait of blocks from tto about the ofp picks (reqdm5, teddm1, q3dm14). quite frankly although there's still some time left for that, that should be probably be more than done already as it's a pending match, thus I guess such block and picks should be made no later than the Thursday night as last hard deadline, it's been like ten days already I think. ok, enough said by now, if anything just let me know and stay tuned for the fun to come.

breaking still with one and a half matches left to dispute for ofp they have already secured at least a draw on their ongoing dt encounter which automatically makes them UnFreeZe Christmas 25/25 supercup champions right on the spot in a fight so intense thus far that if it wouldn't have been recorded you wouldn't even believe, amazing. as usual stay tuned for the aftermath once the whole thing is over, GGs.

breaking, yes, once again, dt finally made a once in a generation kind of comeback and took the two remaining maps of the match in a convincing way to end up drawing the current champions making this way the first game ofp historic comeback the deciding moment of the tournament, epic. as usual, I'm just updating and uploading this stuff as we speak so stay tuned for a further breakdown, GGs.

yes, amazing fight, honestly the way it played out if it wouldn't have been recorded you wouldn't even believe, top tier. ok, I just finished updating everything, the YouTube videos are being produced now so I assume that by mid-night or so they should be done to finish with this (the inside ones will follow through along the night as usual as well). so as said, as summary finally ofp took the supercup by taking the first two opening games though this second round played out a lot different than the first one. if on the first one ofp was sensibly superior in this one was the other way around, despite the draw, the scorecard significantly favor dt here. apparently according to the stats the key moment of the match it wasn't the opening game despite how it actually played out but the second when they turned a score card that significantly favors dt in a event that it's hard to explain just by synthetic game analysis alone which I believe is what makes this kind of games so good. for the rest, dt definitively right the wrongs of their first round here and put a pressure on ofp that was just too much to handle for them at least on the second half of the match. on the first one they managed to defend themselves which was just enough to take the championship with one and a half matches of advance so congrats. the second place was already decided for dt since they took a map the previous week what was still at play this night was the first place that ofp just took this night, now mathematically, with the draw (dt needed a strong win and a strong ofp defeat the Sunday to repeat the championship). and I think that's all by now, the card for the Sunday just got completed today so hopefully I'll drop that here as well after the dinner break.

for the rest, on the balance topic, once again, I was starting to think that this was probably broken beyond belief by now but with the thing almost complete now I think that it can already be told that it was as competitive as it gets and nobody lost everything the same way nobody won everything just like that, thus I think that after all this can be a good starting point for future tournaments hopefully to come along this year. np, thank you for participate as well and more importantly for completing and honoring the tournament in full both in-game as well as off-game. yes, I think that it was overall a great tournament, short but really exciting, GGs. ok, I just posted the YouTube videos/thread now (it will take time until they are online as usual) so we're finally all done with this evening super match then I think that it's time to move with that pending card for the remaining and last match of the tournament between both the same teams that kick off the tournament:
  • stage: UnFreeZe Christmas 25/26 supercup
  • match-up: Operational Force Parangon VS The Team One
    • OFP: Dentist, Belaruskij, M1rage, Abibas, olc, KOVSKY, KRISAdm7, Zoti
    • TTO: WhoAmI?!, Runtheon, Holy_Seresta, ph4tlurks, MWHQ3, lee, Semisek48, cTh
  • server: fpsclasico.de:27968 or fpsclasico.eu:27968
  • gtv: fpsclasico.de:27969
  • picks:
    • OFP: reqdm5, teddm1 (-), q3dm14
    • TTO: charon3dm9, q3dm8, pro-q3tourney7 (-)
  • maps: reqdm5 , charon3dm9 , q3dm14 , q3dm8
  • date: Sunday 11 of January of 2026 19:00 CET (UTC+01)
  • ruleset: competitive UnFreeZe 5vs5 rulesets, no mid-game changes nor spectators allowed
remember that although there's nothing really important at play at the moment it will count for the teams record all the same (which might influence future appearances) so it needs to be played and honored all the same. and I think that then that's all for today. as for the future, as said, I think that from what I see I believe that once I finally setup the new backup server that I just left pending due the holidays and this event in a few months, let's say, something like February/March finally another, hopefully fully fledged this time, tournament can be organized given the circumstances allow for it so those around interested stay tuned to not miss that. in the short term, as said, given the small turnout (i.e. there's no much to chose from this time) and the caliber of the games (i.e. all games were literally all-star) this time it makes no sense to setup a all-star game as it wouldn't feel special, it would just come across as any other game more to be honest so that will be it with the tournament games with the final Sunday ofp-tto encounter. that being said, from what I saw there's probably not much interest for a community game at the moment to try to organize one then given the remarkable skill the new champions displayed across the tournament I was planning on try to arrange one final ofp-Team UnFreeZe showdown to settle the score along these weeks though probably with this night outcome such task has already been accomplished by dt beside I haven't even received much input from Team UnFreeZe about that yet. in light of that I think that probably it can be better option just to try to schedule simply a guest game between the current champions, that already said they are in for that, and a significant community team of mostly guys that missed the tournament and could be interested in participate in a more casual manner rather than setting yet another mega fight and then simply see if it happens along then next weeks (i.e. around this January 2026 month) thus if someone around is interested to participate in that, now individually, feel free to reach out or simply to join here to participate.

breaking, finally this edition champions ofp prevailed in the last encounter of the tournament 3:1 on a back and forth dog fight that featured none other than four 10:9 scores, as close as it gets, major plays from everyone and massive games. ok, I go finalize with the tournament now then and I'll post a final update afterwards as usual, GGs.

all done now I think unless missed something and the YouTube videos should be posted afterwards as usual. as said, overall a epic tournament a lot more balanced than I had anticipated on paper. it definitively felt a lot more than just a "tune-up" event, big time games with big time players. the results are the already knew beforehand, ofp as a the champion on their first appearance and with this night results also ends up the tournament as the number one active rated team, Double Trouble as a solid second place and tto as a close third, at least statistically so I think that it end up being really good. now when it comes to the individual awards, as usual I hope that nobody gets mad now and take as it's, just a list, I added now the individual stats to the tournament thread and from a combination of that and my own observation I made the following best sixth list as the best players of the tournament in the following order blrskij(OFP), *DT*Miroslav, olc(OFP), *DT*Lihensio, *TTO*cTh?!, *TTO*mwhq3 with ofp this time as the mvp of the tournament succeeding miro from the previous one. blrskij probably goes as the player rated number in the tournament surprasing even the likes of the man himself, Miroslav, there's no questions about it, but I felt that overall (and statistically) that olc was the most decisive player in the tournament hence I find the mvp award more fitting for him. in any case, congrats to anyone who participated and thank you for completing and honoring the tournament in full, well played.

other than that on the activity topic from what saw everyone participated except for gladiator, lee, M1rage and krisadm7. gladiator and lee were already accounted for beforehand and they really had no replacement so that should be fine, M1rage and krisadm7 in the other hand were not. as said, for this edition not that it short and every game was pretty much a final but for any successive events those players would need to participate or just be replaced/removed by other ones then please just keep that in mind for the future. on the historic records topic just with six fights and these balanced clearly no historic records were broken though a notable moment of mention was the 40 points mwhq3 on dm14 score that took place this night and it just came 1 point shy of the highest ever recorded competitive score of 41 from legend Miroslav.

and I think that should be all by now, if anything I'll just add it here later on, but basically eight editions already and eight different champions, that's as good as it gets. as said, from what I saw I believe that everything worked smooth, definitively, for these level of competitiveness I loved the format this time then I believe that if nothing changes/happens probably by February/March another tournament can be setup now hopefully with more teams so stay tuned. in the meantime, I don't think there's much hype for a team UnFreeZe fight at the moment then I guess that I'll just leave it to see if some community game happen to spawn here along the week and if not, no big deal, I'll just proceed to archive this as usual on it's respective sub-forum. ggs
