ok so we're finally at Sunday night in Europe and from what I saw nobody else showed thus I guess that it's time to move on with this and kick off the tournament with the aforementioned teams that had joined. finally today ILM/ASS reported that unfortunately that potential mix up nemesis team didn't happen (understandable as even the name would have implied) and I did not hear from Moskva (I mean, in original form) nor Immortal (both had struggled in the past so it was no surprise). great news, then basically without further re-do this is (the whole thing) what we have:

so basically that's it, with just three teams I finally simply copied whole format from the last champions league that unfortunately could not be disputed and I think that should settle this. that's just six games, straight up four rounders with possibility to tie (ties will be broken along the tournament or just by sub scores) so no bullshit, to be played in full during the holidays (approx) that looks ideal to me for this. so as usual review that and if anything just let me know. I'll start now then to contact each team leader to leave the first round of matches set within the next days so those involved please stay in touch and do not unceremoniously delay this. other than ofp also reported than one of their guys KOVSKY most likely won't be able to be available but all the same given there's no replacement it makes no sense to cut it from the list and additionally I also noted srl as potential tto player that had been discussed just in case since they were just seven noted. and I think that's all for now so please everybody have fun and good luck.

ok everyone (of significance) involved notified now about this so just waiting to hear back from that. finally please remember that the picks will carry on between legs for the direct match ups meaning that the maps that are picked this week can not be picked the next for the same match up. I hope that's also clear, it's four rounders so there's no tie-breaks either, no bullshit.

obviously, I just copied&pasted that from the previous tournament and failed to update it (that part). Clearly the second games will be the week after in January 2026, matter of fact, April 2025 doesn't even exist anymore. Ok, I'll just correct that now, thanks for pointing out.

ofp just confirmed now for those initial 26 and 28 of December of 2025 18:30 CET (UTC+01) dates against DT and TTO as away team respectively then now just waiting to hear from those whether they can meet such dates along with their initial three map picks for this within the next few days. as said, the game plan is to complete the whole six matches during the holidays, just as initially planned and implicitly agreed under normal circumstances, then please do not unceremoniously delay it like forever. for the rest, I forgot to mention but given it's finally just a mini-league of three there will be no super star game afterwards as initially noted as with that amount of participants basically all matches will be like super star so it would really make no sense to later organize a further game since it would really be no different. I'll leave though a spot open for a follow up game after this in case something happen to spawn (i.e. some other team end up showing up at some point in the tournament, a potential normal community game instead etc).

as a update and public reminder here it, it looks like finally we have the TTO-OFP game scheduled for this Saturday afternoon at the wait now to complete the card within the next few days (i.e. the picks and blocks). for the rest I still have not received any input from DT as to what days they can play thus I'm afraid that unless they get back with some dates and picks within today/tomorrow they are probably gonna miss out the deadline to play any games this week which is not good. anyway, in the mean time also ofp reported that for the second leg coming next week they most likely won't be available during the initially planned weekend dates due the holidays then probably other dates will have to be discussed along the next week once the cards for the first leg are all complete as it can not be otherwise then as said please stay tuned and have fun.

this morning DT just reported that they probably can not play until the 2-4 so from I heard from the teams so far I just updated the calendar now accordingly as follows:

Admin,you kinda missed again,26th of December is Friday as far as i know,so the match between DT and TTO will take place either tomorrow,or maybe perhaps you wanted the match to take place on January 2nd which is also Friday

mmmmm this time I reviewed it a couple of times and I do not find any errors. as far as I recall tomorrow 26 was initially scheduled the opening DT-OFP match that will not happen as DT just showed up today to report that they can not play until the next week beside they haven't even made a single pick yet so there's no way anything could be played tomorrow anyway. the same goes for the DT-TTO game initially scheduled for the Saturday, it will have to be delayed for the next week and in its place it will happen instead the TTO-OFP encounter that worked for both to kick off the tournament so yes, the DT games will now be tried to be scheduled at those new dates instead. needless to say, if by the next week or so they still have not agreed to anything neither made a single pick they will just be ko.ed, it's the way it's so I hope that's clear now. feel free to review it and let me know (you or anybody else involved or not, that's why I write this here as usual) if I made a mistake or anything.

PS: ah yes I found now what you meant, I missed to update the month/year for the DT-TTO new date, you're right, updated now.

already PM'ed now to both team leaders here on the forum so as usual review that and unless I missed something I think that should be it for tomorrow finally kick off this tournament. as usual everyone involved in the games please make sure to have at least those maps installed otherwise you'll can not play tomorrow. this is specially important for the "newcomers" (here) in this edition. please keep that in mind, you have all maps linked on the card and full mappack available for download at the site. additionally OFP reported some connectivity issues on their end for various of their members to the eu/secondary server thus unless strictly necessary otherwise I'd like as well to ask the other teams to just select the de/main server for their games against OFP as the other one might not work for them, besides, quite frankly at this point with the upgraded main server, as said, unless a outage, there's no much sense in select the secondary one.

and I think that's it by now, for the rest, still at the wait of confirmation and picks for the rest of the games yet to be disputed in particular from those relating the DT encounters for the first week that had to be delayed. as said, that should be left set by the beginning of the next week otherwise I'll have to step in.

breaking the opening match has just concluded with a major 3:0 straight up victory for OFP on a intense display. as usual, further commentary and stuff (results, videos etc) to come so stay tuned, ggs.

that was not ok, but it what it's, I believe that it was better than just straight up ko them like that. beside if you look at the last game my impression is that the outcome would have been similar, overall a pretty strong team. anyway, it's unfortunate but P0rsche just messed them up as usual (he just withdrew like that and wrecked them just as he did to diamond etc) so I assume that he just took advantage of that, it's not ok but it's what it's. as I said, I think I'll make a exception and I'll just note him in place of P0rsche (and P0rsche will be finally permanently banned here from any event/team) and if he doesn't want to show up anymore be it, no big deal. on the upside, at least it would be interesting to see them (in that formation) go against DT I believe those guys could give the reigning a run for their money so we'll see if they can work out that.
