in warmup it was also not possible to pick items after the 3,75 minute mark but i think thats not too much of a big deal/ bug

don't worry about that that's a 1 min patch. that will be patched in next game (didn't patch it in the spot as that requires server restart). for the rest hopefully it did work as intended now.

ok, results for that added now and videos being produced. even the own results are brain fucked, now even until the very last game no final position will be known so everything will be at play the Thursday, even the very own historic team rating record, epic. ggs.

finally since this morning everything up and done with yesterday games, tremendous titanic battle, ggs. I think that looked and got played more like a actual final than just another regular phase game. the scorecard is interesting because it reads as a split decision which I believe that once again speaks volumes of the balance in this edition and I think that it clearly makes the case and justify the legged format of the finals. speaking of which, they pose as totally nose bleeding, I still wouldn't rule out any outcome that hasn't been decided yet so make sure to not miss those out, well played. other than that for those that missed it, as already commented I believe that as was evidenced in the game the rulesets changes that were introduced in this week to confine the round time were more than necessary so to make it clear this is how the round time rulesets currently stand after yesterday game along with a brief commentary:
ok, for other than that, about this week games, hopefully yesterday both oko/ilm and immortal/tc fights were scheduled as currently planed for the Thursday and Sunday respectively so now just waiting for ilm and tc to complete their side of the card within today/tomorrow the latest then please do not forget about that.
- normal - until 2.5 minutes of round time: regular fast paced competitive UnFreZe rulesets with a three deaths per round limit per player to cut 'non-sense'. these are the well known rulesets that has been played at least for over a year already. they are proven to deliver the best exciting games. the vast majority of the games should play within this target.
- overtime - between 2.5 and 3.75 minutes of round time: this is a more tactical variation of the rulesets above just with a two deaths per round limit per player instead to promote scoring and better accommodate mid-slow paced games. ideally this is the overall frame where the more tactical maps in the pool should play at most.
- sudden death - between 3.75 and 4.5 minutes of round time: at this point of round time item pickup just get disabled to ensure that any engagements/exchange produce. thawing, until one per round per player, is still possible here though. ideally the game should almost never get this far and this ruleset would never be necessary, unfortunately in practice as evidence yesterday, that's simply not the case at this level of competition. at this point client side prediction of items gets thus messed up due the server side changes. to account for that cg_predictitems will be disabled server side and it's recommended to be disabled as well client side to avoid broken sounds.
- elimination mode - after 4.5 minutes of round time: as the name implies the game just switches into strict clan arena and on top of the limitations in the previous levels you get directly eliminated instead of frozen when fragged to ensure that the round indeed concludes. it appears that "just" with the sudden death level is enough for the game to then converge and reasonable play, at least that was the case yesterday, but just to be safe I also added this level this morning to hopefully avoid any further incidents.

hehe as I said, I think that there's no other way around it. ok, this night I won't post any schedules as the match-ups, for other than a potential second leg between community and immortal, are still unknown so we'll have to wait until the Thursday night for that. that said, I believe that everyone involved in the finals (ilm, ass, oko, dt) can already start to think about when they can play their semi final next week to then start to schedule them right after the closing game of the regular phase. additionally I believe that community and immortal can already start to consider as well if they want to do a follow up undercard game with what's left of the map pool that wasn't picked the Sunday the next or even the coming week to settle the score for the fifth place. nothing else depend on that so it should not be big deal to schedule, matter of fact, I believe that we can probably wait until the Sunday to see how it plays out the game and if the circumstances really call for it. additionally being now a undercard off the tournament game I think that probably both can get reinforcements/changes if given the case (specially immortal) so probably we can still wait a week or so for that. as usual just stay tuned and let me know.

braking! ilm has finally lost the first place and the possibility of a historic team rating record has faded away due a no show penalization in the very last game of the regular phase. as usual everything updated and detailed after the fun game playing this night, in the mean time, this makes the final match ups oKo-DT and ILM-ASS so stay tuned to now schedule those within the next days.
