adminless wrote: Thu Nov 17, 2022 19:11 btw more important than all the controversy that I know that people have been looking this up and asking me about this is that just as documented on the site people not using the provided mod and instead using something else can as well get the teamoverlay working on the UnFreeZe servers with the following console commands or just by execing the attached cfg once in-game.

Code: Select all

\setu teamoverlay2 ""
\cg_drawteamoverlay 1
\teamoverlay2 1
Sorry what's this code do? Compared to team overlay in options menu?

that's for people not using the UnFreeZe mod to allow to draw the teamoverlay chart on their clients as mentioned. obviously for people using the UnFreeZe mod it does nothing the client doesn't already do itself as you wrote.

great noted in, let's see what pride pickup next then. btw note (pride) that with community choosing q3dm7 you now can not pick 7++. just saying in case you go for the usual 6++, 7++, overkill, you're gonna need to think in something else besides 6++ and overkill. please keep that in mind.

awesome thank you for that. now please let me know when you can what you want to skip from community picks (q3dm7, phantq3dm1_rev, bal3dm3) and from the set of tie-breakers (hub3tourney1, pro-q3tourney2, pro-q3dm13). one each of course.

boh I'm not a cheerleader but not gonna be doing the ugly shit all the time, you know what I'm saying. I didn't unban you for the shake of it, it was a really good game and it's good for the league here to have at least two top tier competitive teams.

yes you're right I missed that, that was wrong, thanks for pointing it out. I just corrected it now on my original post the set of tie-breakers to blacklist one for pride against community is hub3tourney1, pro-q3tourney2, pro-q3dm13. this is exactly why I always write this publicly here later on this way people can oversee it and point out if there's some mistake.

ok, YouTube videos for yesterday colossal pride-wtf fight finally up since this morning, ggs. to put the fight on perspective I collected now the overall combined key stats of it as follows:
  • games: 2:3
  • rounds: 41:41
  • score:
    • 379(320:63:4:317)[1.20 s/d:1.01 k/d:0.20 t/d]
    • 377(313:70:6:326)[1.16 s/d:0.96 k/d:0.21 t/d]
  • damage:
    • 106889:102962(102932+30)[50.94% - 324.80 dmg.taken/d]
    • 102932:106919(106889+30)[49.05% - 327.97 dmg.taken/d]
  • accuracy: 26.19%:24.39%
  • defends: 23:22
overall very similar results to the last team masters vs team UnFreeZe super fight, a combined stalemate. two very clearly sided home maps for each team (a lot more statistically sided than it looked in-game) and a massive tie-breaker that decided everything. this time I felt pride home maps were the best these guys have ever played (I mean, at least here of course). 6++/overkill were just the pinnacle of their game. on the other hand wtf maps were more individually suited although I must say that in the overall wtf teamplay surprised me and it was probably the key to their victory. that led to the tie-breaker that despite all the recurrent endless controversy about the pool and the formats it proved that indeed, the system does work, and it does it very well and it delivered a massive neck to neck game that decided the fight in favor of wtf this time. it was probably the best game of the fight and likely one of the best on the tournament so far. historic UnFreeZe player {black}nastia showed all his years of cumulative experience on this community (+5000 hours) to led his prideful team on one of the classic UnFreeZe maps but the key difference ultimately came from the intermediate players with P0rsche pulling a decisive performance. on the individual side probably the best player was ixsy that for other than the last decisive game led the entire night scoreboard with mvp performance after mvp performance. I know this wtf lineup probably break the community balance rule but little did I know that the random dude with the random nicks looking for a random team was actually previous season notorious well known Komanda Soobshchestvo leader and single carrier loverex. probably I had known that and I wouldn't have allowed it but anyways looking at it now, if these pride guys (in any shape or form) are gonna stick around (as it seems the case) it's probably good to have at least another similarly balanced team around for the sake of the competition beside I assume it would have been probably difficult for loverex to participate on this edition otherwise which would have not been that fair.

good at the wait of the other potential mega fight this Sunday 20 21:15 CET between wtf and oko with this fight then we complete the first third of the regular season with still nothing really shaped (let alone decided) just five teams tied with one win and pride leading with two wins with half the league (six fights for each team) completed for them. I haven't computed all the possibilities but I believe that at this point virtually all teams can still make it into the top four that give access to the final phase playoff that will crown the UnFreeZe Fall 22 champion team. so to summarize how the situation currently stands for the next week incoming fights to make it clear is as follow:
  • Tenth 3
    • oKo Clan VS Team Over30 - Tuesday 22 of November of 2022 21:00 CET | status: confirmed at the wait of oKo picks until the Saturday 19 20:59:59 CET before I overrule them myself
  • Tenth 4
    • WTF Clan VS ILM Clan - Thursday 24 of November of 2022 21:15 CET | status: not confirmed, ilm says can't really do other than the Thursday, wtf says can't really do the Thursday. Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 are already taken so both must reach a agreement/compromise and communicate within the next few days about it.
    • Team Community VS Team Pride - Wednesday 23 of November of 2022 20:00 CET | status: confirmed at the wait of pride to blacklist one of community picks (q3dm7, phantq3dm1_rev, bal3dm3) and one of the set of fight tie-breakers (hub3tourney1, pro-q3tourney2, pro-q3dm13) until the Monday 21 19:59:59 CET before I overrule that myself

We ban overkill and pro-q3tourney2, so pro-q3dm13 as tie-breaker.
